nuLOOM Vintage Harriet Medallion Fringe Area Rug, 5x8, Rust

This rug is SO NICE. I was at s rug store previously and all of the rug I was looking at STARTED at $1,500 for an 8x10. This rug feels and look so much nicer. You really are getting a lot for the price. It is SO soft. Literally feels like a really thick velvet fabric, but durable.I suggest buying a rug pad. It makes it even more comfortable. Our house is all wood floors so its nice to have a comfortable spot to lay on floor with a big pillow and blanket.I will say the color is slightly more washed out than the photo but I am VERY detail oriented and I might be one of very few people to notice this. The rug is true to size. It is not stiff what so ever. Drape-y, heavy and lays flat right away. Definitely feels and looks expensive.Overall great purchase. I am going to buy from the same brand for my dining room.

This rug feels and - mostly - looks much more expensive than it is! I've shown many people pictures and they can't believe how little it cost.It looks great in my living room. The colors initially are slightly more muted than in the photo, but I quickly learned that is due to the "nap" of the rug - if you wipe the fibers in a different direction the colors are very true to how they're displayed here.The colors/pattern feel very lived-in, and this variation adds to that effect, in my opinion. It also hides dirt very well for the same reason - in fact, a few times I've thought it was stained or wet, and wiped my hand over it. Nope! The fibers were just "swiped" in the other direction.It's very soft underfoot, and very easy to clean. There was maybe a slight plastic/chemical smell when I opened it, but honestly I don't even remember - if there was it dissipated quickly.The biggest problem is that it came rolled VERY tight. Even with the ends under heavy books (as pictured above) it probably took a full two weeks to completely unfurl and lay flat. If you were to steam it down somehow that would probably accelerate the process.Two pictures are included here - one just a day or two after it was delivered, and the other about 8 months later. Bonus cat butt for scale.

Purchased this for our back door entry over hardwood floors.- very pretty muted colors- low pile, although the binding around the edges is thicker than the rug pile. My door catches a bit on the binding, which is a bummer, b/c if not for the binding thickness, the door would easily swing over the rug pile itself.- I ordered the 3x5 and was disappointed that this size has no fringe on the ends. I could have returned it per the return policy, but didn't want to bother. Too bad. The fringe would have made it look less like a mat and more like an area rug.- The colors are muted, which is fantastic, b/c the rug has a slight sheen to it that would have screamed "I am acrylic" if the colors were brighter. I am using this in our back door entry, so I'm not too concerned about elegance, but if using this in a living room or front entry or location that gets a lot of natural light, I would think twice. Our back entry is off the garage, so there isn't all that much natural light in that area. That situation is nice lighting for this rug. As a test, I moved it to our front entry which is full of natural light, and the sheen was very unattractive and "cheap-y" looking.Summary - - I specifically wanted a synthetic (not wool) rug, so I was expecting that it might have an acrylic sheen. Using it in the entry off the garage, I know it will get dirty and its main purpose is to wipe our feet on and not track dirt into the house, so being able to clean it easily is important in this case.I shopped locally first before ordering this online.For a synthetic rug that was also low pile enough for door clearance, this is by far, much prettier than anything I saw anywhere . . . Target, Macy's, Bed/Bath/Beyond, Homeworld . . .For what it is, it is extremely pretty and I am very happy with it.

I received my order a week before it was projected to arrive. It was folded so I can't comment about wrinkles, etc., as I won't be opening it until I move into a new build. However from what I can see looking at the end of the rug, it looks exactly as pictured on the Amazon website. It is gorgeous. I am planning a beige and grey MBR. It matches perfect with bedding, pillows, etc. I have planned. It is't a real thick rug and I see a lot of comments about that. But you aren't going to get that wo spending $1,000 for a 9 X 12 rug. At this point, I do believe it is as expected and a good value.

This rug is trash. The pattern only shows if you vacuum it all in One Direction pulling the pattern up. The second anyone steps on it the pattern completely disappears and it turns whitish gray just like it was as soon as it came out of the vacuum sealed pack. It’s super cheap and the picture is misleading. It does not look like the picture. Not even when you have it vacuumed up.

I have this rug in 6ft round in the rust color and now the 8 x10 in the blue color and I am just generally disappointed by the colors. Both rugs are pretty, nice material and soft but the colors to me look nothing like the picture. The rust color I received is more orange-toned with dark blue and almost a yellowish/green tone vs the blue I received is VERY light and the color on the edge is salmon pink. I thought maybe I received the wrong color (maybe ivory) until reading other reviews that noticed the same odd coloring.It's pretty but if you are looking for true rust or true dark blue, this rug isn't the right color despite it's description

I bought this in 3x2' size to use as a mat by the front door. The colors are very off from the web site. Not at all attractive. I thought the tassles would be cute, but they are very thick & make the rug look cheap. The bottom of the rug is very stiff, but the top is soft. I'd return it if that wasn't such a hassle. Very disappointed with this purchase.

I am in LOVE with this Runner! It’s exactly as shown in the ad, the colours are clear and brilliant , the pile is soft and easy to clean. The price is more than reasonable and the delivery time was great! I am more than pleased and I highly recommend purchasing this runner!

Very nice rug. Very soft and looks great in the room. Put underlay and put tape under each corner to keep in place. Haven’t had to clean yet. Although it does state to not wash the rug I will spot wash as needed. It is a bit expensive compared to other rugs out there.

Excellent quality but the description reads it has a fringe and it doesn't reason why I returned it

It doesn't complement my other carpets.It's soft and slippery feel and needed a rugpad underneath.
