Jason Simply Coconut Whitening Fluoride-Free Toothpaste, Coconut Cream, 4.2 Oz (Pack of 2)

If you have sensitive gums and/or sensory issues, and toothpaste normally makes your gums irritated, bleed, and makes you gag and possibly throw up... TRY this toothpaste! I hate traditional toothpaste. Always have, always will - the texture, the taste - AND it often irritates my gums and causes them to bleed. The best compromise I had found among fluoride kinds of toothpaste was using a baking soda and peroxide formula. This toothpaste doesn't bother me in the slightest, though. It's extremely gentle on my gums but feels like it's getting my teeth clean still, and the flavor is very nondescript. It just barely tastes like anything at all, though I can smell the coconut a bit, and feel its sensation in my mouth, which is similar to the sensation of oil pulling with coconut oil. It gets a little frothy while brushing, and it's a bit goopy coming out the tube, so you have to be careful at first not to lose the bit you squeeze out on your toothbrush. I should also note this tube gives you about the same volume of toothpaste as regular, medium-sized tube you buy at the store. It's grey... not the most attractive color... but hopefully, you're not choosing tubes of toothpaste based on their color, anyway. My mouth feels so very fresh and clean after using it. And it feels NATURALLY clean, not the kind of strong chemical minty clean you get with normal toothpaste. It also whitens just as well, if not better, than my old peroxide based toothpaste. I really like it!

This is my go to toothpaste for myself and my children,. I will forever use this toothpaste. I love it so much it taste like coconut.! and it doesn’t give your breath and unnatural smell. So no, your breath isn’t supremely minty or anything like that. It doesn’t burn your mouth and it feels truly clean. There is no fluoride in this. It is very foamy. I love this toothpaste. I wish it was a little bit more affordable though.

The flavor is good, albeit not really "coconut cream" more of a generic coconut with a hint of strawberry, and the absence of SLS is a definite plus (first time in 36 years I've had toothpaste that didn't burn my mouth!) but the texture is weird and almost unpleasant. It's very... Gelatinous. It's hard to load on a toothbrush because it's so solid and sticky that it doesn't want to break off. Once I start brushing it does foam up well, almost too well at first. I switched to an electric toothbrush and that definitely helped with the texture and amount of foam.

I cannot get past the taste. It's literally like brushing with coconut oil except it whitens your teeth. Hate to say it though a lot of tooth pastes, even fluoride free ones, do the same thing and taste A LOT better. I understand this is better because it doesn't have artificial sweeteners and a lot of bad stuff toothpaste companies add but I can NOT get over the taste 🤢

Read other folks' reviews here & you'll see alotta basically: "Tastes weird & has a slimy mouth feel." And both of those statements are sadly true. While this disgusting goop looks and tastes nothing like coconut, it does taste like what my chemistry set must've tasted like when I wasa 11. Like many people, I'd heard that coconut can whiten teeth in an amazing and fairly fast way, so thot this would be a good place to start. But after wasting my money on this gross stuff, I'll stick with gargling pure coconut oil. And you know that fresh feel your mouth usually has after brushing? Not with this stuff. You'll need to brush a second time after using this stuff if you wanna have a fresh mouth. Bottom line: This toothpaste is just wrong on every level. Back to the drawing board, Jason!

I bought this for my 11 year old autistic child. They had told me that standard toothpaste options were not favorable because of the foaming action and the strength of the flavorings, especially those that were primarily mint. While I couldn't get them to try it, I myself did. It made my teeth feel super clean. You couldn't taste the mint, or even the flavoring which is exactly what was needed for my specific situation. It also didn't foam up much at all which was another issue with typical tooth pastes according to my kiddo. I will have to update once I'm able to get them to try it as well.

Hard to squeeze out. Tasted bad. I'm looking for something without a chemical taste. There was goop that didn't dissolve as I was brushing so I had to take it off. It did clean my teeth so that's a plus and why I'm giving it 2 two stars instead of one.

La consistencia es mas como mouse que como la crema de dientes tradicional, esto hace que necesites solo la mitad de lo que se usa de otras cremas. Tiene un muy suave sabor a coco, que además no dura mucho. Desde el segundo o tercer uso se nota una diferencia en el pulido de los dientes, pero no es abrasivo. Me gustó mucho.
