High Quality Paper
This paper is the perfect sheerness for drawing and fashion design illustration that I used it for. You are able to see the layer underneath, but it has a nice thickness to it, so it is not entirely transparent. You can also work on both sides of this paper which adds a nice dimension. I will definitely be purchasing this again.

I use this for calligraphy practice. Works great, though I turn over the paper and write on the back to avoid bleeding (ink!). For whatever reason the front surface bleeds. If you use a guide sheet, you will be able to see though this paper to easily see the guidelines below.

PAPER HAS A RIGHT & WRONG SIDE!
I have been using an older #37 pad for a calligraphy class and I ordered 2 new 50-sheet replacement pads. Using the same pen (Pilot 1.5mm /w cartridge) and ink, the new paper bleeds too badly to be used! See photo of old/new sheets.POSITIVE UPDATE: I called the company, Chartpak, and spoke with Customer Service who informed me that the paper has a RIGHT & WRONG side. The paper was flipped during manufacturing so the WRONG SIDE on my pad is face up when the pad's cover is lifted! When I use my pen on the other side of the paper, it works perfectly.

Great Paper
This paper works great withe copic markers! My daughter requested Bristol for her Birthday and we got her both the Bristol and this paper and she was surprised that she prefers this over the Bristol.
