I would recommend these for anybody needing this type of product. I ordered these for a senior gentleman. And he really likes the comfort and ease of using them. Price comparability is very affordable.

I am 5'8" inches tall at 163 #'s. I wear the large size and they work well. I discovered that when you pee do it in short bursts. This gives the material time to absorb the liquid. I have worn these all day long and found them comfortable. They will hold, at least for me, a total of 11.2 ounces which translates into over a cup of liquid. You do have to remember that with liquid comes weight. I found that by mid afternoon I would have to pull up on them a little. I've had no problem with side leakage. The first liner keeps you very dry, even though it doesn't feel like it while your peeing you do stay dry. I do like when you're ready to remove them you simply tear at the side seams and they come right off. After reading the negatives on other products I am staying with these.

These Solimo were my "go-to" underwear for a long time. They used to be slightly bigger and a lot more absorbent.Solimo brand was redesigned in mid year. Tried to use but I have been continuingly getting leaks out the sides and through the front.Underwear has become narrower thru the crotch: front and back and I am pretty sure there is less of the absorbent materialIt is not my imagination because I have lost about 50 lbs. since the redesign. And they still do not work like the old design. You can tell old from new by looking at the waist printing. New one is blockier and darker.A similar problem happened a couple of years ago with the Solimo "guards" when they were reworked.When the Solimo first took over the guard item the stickum panel was solid and waterproof. Then they reduced the stickum to a couple of parallel lines. Goodbye waterproof. Fluid just passed immediately through the areas between the lines and wet my underwear. Had to use 2 and hope enough absorbency would get me to the restroom while still somewhat dry.I totally understand that Amazon wants to produce products in a way that saves the customers money, but when cheapening the product impacts its usefulness this is a historic case of "false economy".I am currently using the Prevail brand underwear which is significantly more expensive and not much bigger. I am augmenting them with Northshore guards which are waterproof.Would buy a house brand again if you can redesign it back to a working model.

It says "Compare to Depends". I looked for cheaper "Depend" adult diapers and couldn't find any nearly as cheap as Amazon's. My hubby swears by these. They're the only ADs I tried (and I tried 6 different brands/types) that fit well and don't leak ... UNLESS ... My hubby has dementia, so sometimes he knows what that feeling is and sometimes he doesn't. When he's just not "feelin it", he will sit in a soggy AD until pee squishes out of it. That cannot be helped by any AD. It will look obviously engorged before it becomes able to leak. Keep an eye out & don't let him sit all day! These are the best for men. Period.

The front of the pad is made correctly but as it goes towards the back of the pad the size doesn't change until the very top and only by about an inch, so it is like a menstrual pad. It does not cover your entire buttocks only about two inches on either side of your separation. Then the outer fabric does not really hold shape so once you put it on you realize your cheeks are hanging out. You can try to adjust it but it just doesn't work. I bought large based on 38 waist and weighing 210. I think it would be great for someone who is bedridden and cannot move. It is very affordable and comfortable when not moving but if you have to walk you will be adjusting it from between your legs. It's a great deal in price though of you need something quick so now I'm going to have to go to the store and get depends. Which sadly is not expensive but I guess worth it. I will admit it looks like the picture mostly but they don't show a pic of the back. I give it 3 stars, they are affordable, seem durable, and the elastic in the band stretches back and forth without losing any elasticity.

They work great, comfortable, no leaks.What no one is talking about is how the inner material degenerates or seperates. Gets wrapped around my penis and in my public hair.Needs inner liner to keep absorbent material in place.

The product is very large, so I ordered the XL which are just right.
