Great Learning Fun
Our 6 year old granddaughter loved excavating for bugs. She also was excited to find a couple of unexpected gem stones.Each bug is encapsulated in acrylic. There are information cards provided that gives you information on each one of the bugs and a magnifying glass to view up close. Kept her busy for a couple hours and she absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend this.

My boys loved this gift! It was fun, not too messy and the display it came with was awesome! My boys were a little rough with it and it did split in two but we just glued it! I believe this could be a great gift for anyone ages 4+!! Great price as well!

Great activity
Our grandson is 7yrs old and lives to explore. This passes time and he lives what he finds .This is like his 5th different one. So many varieties, educational. Value of fun and learning along the way.

Everything Was Just As Described
Some reviews stated that they didn’t get a single insect or gemstone. Happily, my grandson ended up with all eight insects and four stones!The hammer that comes with the kit won’t work to break the plaster. We had to use a regular small hammer.The kit was intact on arrival. It was not broken or damaged at all.The kit has information cards about the various insects. It’s educational.Very happy with this kit. It was a good purchase.

Perfect Gift for Bug Lovers!
I got this kit for my nephew, who is fascinated by bugs and enjoys learning new facts about them. Although I haven’t opened it yet since it’s a Christmas gift, everything looks exactly as advertised. I love that it comes with cards featuring bug names and interesting facts—he’s going to absolutely love it!

Yikes
Dig kits have been a hit in my house for years, so I'm always looking for unique ones. That said, my 6 1/2 year old had a really hard time finding stones, and did not end up finding them all. Disappointing for a Christmas gift. Also, the black volcano made such a dirty mess. Way worse than the lighter clay. I could not possibly recommend this one.
