The material is sturdy. As far as fit, there is no way to secure the sides using the velcro because the two pieces don't reach each other due to the size of the grill with the sidekick. This isn't too much of a problem because its still pretty secure without the velcro connected although it doesn't come down far enough to cover the bottom shelf. The biggest problem is when it rains -- its NOT waterproof! The sidekick comes with a drip tray for the grease, and when taking off the cover after a rain the tray is full of water after being under the cover. The grill also has beads of water all over it and the bottom shelf is completely wet and needs to be dried -- I can see that rusting in no time at all. This would be great if it was waterproof and was a few inches longer to cover the shelf but it falls short for these reasons.

This is heavy, thick, and waterproof. Just what my SmokePro SG needs!! I'd give it a 5 if they just rethought the closure. The strap is on either side and it's a hook and loop closure. You have a strap hanging off one side and a sewn on piece on the other you lay it across to close. The problem is it's backwards in thought. It's easier to work the closures from the backside of the cover because you pull the strap towards you and lay it across the sewn on piece. From the front you have to reach further around the grill (We don't all have room on the sides LOL)and the whole process is more awkward. Hopefully someone from Camp Chef reads this. They are pretty responsive to customer/community suggestions, might test it out, and see where I'm coming from!!

I ordered the cover from VM Express through Amazon instead of Camp Chef direct, as shipping was free with VM Express/Amazon. The purchase price was virtually identical from either vendor.The product fil the Woodwind 24 pellet grill with sear box well. The fabric appears sturdy due to the heaviness of the fabric and the stitching. Time will be the determining judgment as to its durability, the reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 for durability.The product arrived in two days, as promised.

What a great cover this is! It is lightweight material but very heavy duty for use. It covers my "best investment" in a long time, my Camp Chef 36" Pellet smoker/grill. It fits perfectly even with the sear unit I put on and the propane tank. A great addition that will protect your investment in your smoker!

This cover fit precisely on my Camp Chef 36 inch smoker SGX. I like the way it covers the smoker almost to the ground.

If you want the brand name Camp Chef cover that fits the right way, dont skip on this product. I purchased this to cover my Camp Chef Woodwind WiFi 36 and it fits like a glove!

This cover is one of the best that I have purchased. I have purchased several covers for my gas Weber but none are as well build or fits as perfectly as this cover. Heavy material makes this product stand out. I have only had it about a month but I would it to last many years.
