This zip ties to your mask. On mine it appeared very tight but once I jumped into the water it shifted and became wobbly. It was loose flopping a bit side to side but the zip tie held it on the mask.

I've used masks that had a Gopro mount already built in, and maybe I wasn't buying the good ones, but they never seemed to really make the grade for me. They would leak, or just not be good quality. Enter this little gadget! It does fit all my good, duel lens masks, and it's no issue getting them on. I like the fact that it's not just snap on, but it utilizes a zip tie, to make sure that you're not going to lose your camera, the first time you bump it with your hand or something. Would highly recommend to someone who needs to mount their GoPro onto their mask!

This is similar to several other GoPro type mounts on the market. It attaches via zipties to the bridge between the lenses of a mask. I tried it out on a Scubapro D-Mask and it proved to be a stable base for my GoPro in its housing. . Note that the zip ties means the installation is semi-permanent, so the base remains on the mask, even when the camera is removed.I'm not sure if the captive nut is stainless or plated; I'll have to see after some salt water dives.Note that mounting a camera on your mask means you'll get a lot of bubble footage from your regulator exhaust. For a rebreather, old school double hose, or snorkeling use, this will not be a problem.
