Stylish, gentle, and functional
This type of hair band works great on my fine hair. (A ponytail containing all of my hair is about the same diameter as a nickel.) The broad band, gentle elastic and simple tied knot means minimal hair breakage and creasing compared to traditional hair ties. I've bought this type from other brands before and knew ahead of time that I preferred this style. As for this specific product, I'll start by saying the colors are lovely. The picture has a strangely dim/sepia-tone look to it, but in real life the colors aren't so faded. For example, the peachy one is a bright, crisp peach color. I like how it comes with repeats of colors/patterns so that you can do a style that requires two matching ones, such as double braids. The size is great and holds a snug ponytail without being too tight or loose. The only downer is that with my fine hair type, they still leave a crease when I let my hair down.

Pretty good deal
Pretty good deal...I think I paid $7-8 for this 20 pack? Definitely not as cheap as a pack of hair ties from Walmart, but I purposely bought these in an effort to do less damage to my very dry, curly hair, and I definitely have noticed less of a "pony tail" line when I take my hair down and less scalp pain from tying my hair back. They are very stretchy, but don't stretch out beyond usefulness; I have been using the same one for the past month, and it has maintained its shape, color, and no elastic shredding. I would say that the colors (at least for this pack) are a little deceiving; I was expecting more coral and peachy colors, but those bands are light pink and bright pink. Some of the light browns pictured are actually a light grey/green. Not a huge deal for me (don't care that much), but for someone who cares about color in their accessories, just a heads up.

So Cute and Functional!
I think these are so cute. I'm ordering these again in different colors, just for more variety, and because I really like them. I would point out that I don't know that these are meant to hold a ponytail for long, thick hair- they are elastic, but they don't have the stretch-and-stay power of a hair rubber band for thick hair. However, my hair is medium-thickness and a little more than shoulder-length, and I found that one of these holds my low ponytail all day. I have even worn it to bed and woke up with it still on. I think it's fun to layer them, and have been using two at a time; plus you can always layer the hair tie over your regular super-elastic hairband. The fabric is durable enough that I have used these enough times repeatedly without any breakdown. Also, the knots are tied very well, and good luck trying to untie it- this is good news when you want your hair to stay put. All in all, super cute and functional, and I highly recommend!

I plan to put a little clear nail polish on the ends to prevent fraying.
The peach look a little more pink than their picture. Also, looks like the ends will fray easily, as some are frayed already. I plan to put a little clear nail polish on all the ends to prevent fraying. Otherwise, these are as advertised, and I love the gray colors and designs. For those of you who are wondering, the white one with the black text says "Kenz Lorenz," the brand name. I wanted to try these no-crease hair ties, and this was a better deal than at my supermarket.Since other reviewers have mentioned a smell, I will add that yes, they do have a smell. It's basically a hair tie smell. It's strong when you have all 20 in a pile together, but a.) individually it's not a problem, b.) it lessened immediately when rinsed, and c.) now that I have had them for a while, they do not smell at all!

Not all the right patterns
I have had these Kenz Laurenz hair ties before and like them. They work for my thin hair. However, the package advertised “20 count” and I only received 17. I was planning to parcel them out as little gifts for friends so the lack of 20 sucks for me. Not to mention, I paid for 20 so I should get 20. The main reason I picked this pack was the cute polka dot pattern, and they didn’t send me those. I got a more random assortment (see picture.) Neither is the peach color what I can expected. It is definitely more of a pink than orange. Disappointed in my experience and probably should have gone to the Kenz Laurenz website, I guess.

Worth Price/Amount of Products
First, it’s impossible to make these and have them not bend up. They need to remove that claim because it will never happen.I have hair to my hips, but it’s thin and light. I fear breakage, but they have not broken any hair out. They gave great elasticity and are as good as the super expensive ones I’ve purchased. They’re totally worth the price, they don’t pull my hair out (or break it). The ends can shed, they might work on that.

Good but not exactly as expected
I just got my order and was disappointed to see that one of the colors shown in the photo was not the orange color I was expecting, but rather a strawberry/pinky-coral. I had ordered them specifically for that orange color.I did get 20 in my package and in all the colors shown except for the one that appears to be white with black writing.Hair ties are similar to ones I have purchased in the store with respect to elasticity and quality. I do notice the chemical smell that other reviewers have mentioned.

They're a good size unlike some hair ties that you feeling like ...
I wanted a more attracted alternative to the always present black hair band cutting off the circulation of my wrist. These fit perfectly on my (admittedly tiny) wrists. They have plenty of stretch but keep their elasticity and rebound when not in use. They're a good size unlike some hair ties that you feeling like 2 wraps isn't enough but 3 is too tight. I'll probably get another set in a different color scheme. $10 felt a little pricey but I did end up buying. It would have been an easy, instant purchase if they were around $7.
