E855 Carpenter's Wood Filler, 3.25-Ounce Tube, White

I picked this up to fill a handful of nail holes and small gaps while wrapping up some trim work, and it did exactly what I needed it to do. The tube makes it easy to apply without making a huge mess, which is a nice change from digging into a giant tub with a putty knife. It spreads smoothly, dries fairly quickly, and sands down without turning into concrete. Once I painted over it, I honestly couldn't tell where the repairs had been. For little projects around the house, the 3.25-ounce tube is the perfect size and doesn't take up much room in the toolbox. One tip is to put the cap back on as soon as you're done. Wood filler seems to have a personal grudge against being left open for even a minute. 😂 If you're tackling trim, baseboards, or patching small imperfections before painting, this stuff is worth having on hand.

I haven’t seen any shrinking or cracking after it dried, which is a big plus compared to some cheaper fillers I’ve tried. Clean-up is simple too—just water, no mess. Only thing to keep in mind is that it’s best for indoor projects, but for trim, furniture touch-ups, or small repairs, it’s perfect. Overall, super reliable and easy to use. I’ll definitely keep a tube of this on hand for future projects.

Worked to fill wood gaps surprisingly well. The material was not dried out at all. Was kind of hard to get out at times, and it does start to dry out as soon as it starts coming out. It did work, though! Sort of a learning curve at first. Dried well after smoothing it out while still pliable. Couldn’t get it in to the crack in the door as another use but will keep trying. Would buy again as it did work to fill many other defects and cracks in wood.

The best wood putty for paint. The best. No seriously. The best. I can’t find my nail/screw holes. They are gone. I’m not sure they ever existed.

Does exactly what it says. Used it to fill screw handle holes on kitchen unit doors and drawers. A little bit runny but still very good to use. Sanded and painted over with water based gloss. Happy with the finish.
