I use this on my 45 pound pit, 10 months old. I had a trainer show me the correct way to use it, and I've been following his instructions (make sure the loop is at the very top of the neck, right behind the skull, and put the 'catch' so that there is only a little bit of play in the loop). Scout has learned very quickly to walk at my side with no pulling. It's a very sturdy lead, without being too heavy.I would order again.

In general this works as expected. It's a fairly flat braided cord, not a fully rounded cord as I was anticipating, based on thicker diameter leashes I've purchased in this same style. So I am leery of its overall strength, but so far all is well. It is nice that it is very flexible and compact for fitting in a pocket or purse.

Great slip lead for smaller dogs. It is well made. If you volunteer at a shelter it's great for small dogs or if you have a s dog under. 30 lbs at home that is a slight puller.I would suggest a thicker lead for the intense puller.

I'm a certified dog obedience trainer. This is the only type of leash I use. Good quality, good price.

I volunteer at the animal shelter, this lead is easy to slip on and off when getting dogs out of their kennel. Also, with the leather sinch, I feel secure the the dogs won't slip out. Works well with smaller dogs.
