Watch is pretty and looks absolutely classic. Unfortunately strap was smaller for me so I had to return but you can buy this for everyday office wear or to go with Indian formals or western casuals. Very versatile. I specially live Roman numbered dials.

Ich suchte eine Uhr für den Alltag, die nicht allzu teuer ist und trotzdem chic aussieht. Diese habe ich hiermit gefunden!!! Da ich sehr wählerisch bin, war ich erst skeptisch. Hatte sogar zuerst versucht, die Bestellung zu stornieren, was nicht mehr möglich war. Zum Glück, kann ich nur sagen! Heute, einen Tag nach Bestellung, kam die Uhr in schönem Uhrenkarton bestens verpackt an. Sie ist für mich perfekt! Die Größe passt super an meinem schmalen Handgelenk. Und dann das schöne Zifferblatt! Der cremefarbene Hintergrund, die schwarzen Zeiger plus Sekundenzeiger und die römischen Zahlen in Kombination mit goldfarbenen Gehäuse und hellbraunem Lederarmband sehen einfach nur toll aus. Auf diesem Zifferblatt steht die römische 4 nicht wie eigentlich "IV", sondern "IIII" , was des öfteren bei Uhren üblich ist, der besseren Lesbarkeit halber. Also kein Fehler. Das Armband ist tatsächlich echtes Leder. Alles in allem ist es eine schöne Damenuhr, die ich ab sofort nicht nur im Alltag nutzen werde. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich natürlich noch nichts sagen, doch ich freue mich sehr, diese Uhr gekauft zu haben und empfehle sie somit gerne weiter.

Update: January 2025 This watch has performed spectacularly over the past eight months. I wear it every single day and it is still in perfect conditions -- even the strap shows no signs of wear to the leather. No peeling or cracking ...it looks brand new. And I'm wearing it all the time. I love it so much that yesterday when I saw it on sale for $22, I bought a second one to keep in case anything happens to this one. Not that I'm expecting that it will fail me, but in case it gets smashed or lost. Grab a good deal when you see it ...I originally paid over $60 for the first one, though it was certainly worth it. Original: May 2024 This is my kind of watch, simple and classic. I have a 6" wrist and the 2nd to tightest notch is just a touch too loose for my taste if worn on the wrist, but the tightest notch is too tight, so I wear the watch slightly below the wrist, and with the face on the inside as it just feels more secure in that position (and also I like the look). Has kept time well so far, is so quiet you would never notice it, and is just so beautiful to look at. For anyone who thinks the designer doesn't know Roman numerals, "IIII" is an acceptable alternative to "IV" (as a matter of fact, IIII has been used longer, coming before IV in history). The choice between the two is a matter of personal preference for those designing clock/watch faces. IIII is preferable by many (including me) because they find it makes the face more aesthetically pleasing overall. It also makes it easier to read considering the organization of numbers on a clock/watch face is very different compared to the left-to-right sequence presented in writing (for this reason the French king Charles V demanded that the IV on the clock tower of his palace be changed to IIII).

I like that it looks authentic and just what I wanted to receive after checking the picture. It comes with a box which is really a good thing if you will give it as a gift to someone.
