Beast of a strimmer
Got from warehouse but still well packaged. Eay to charge battery included with its well made charger. Battery just stops charging wen full indicated by solid green light which flashes on charging unit wen charging. The battery also has an indicator of light bar to state how full the charge is. Now the actual strimmer. It's easy to assemble v straight forward. It's a beast of a strimmer big cutting area yet easy to hold with the 2 handles. Not v heavy. And easy packed away in its box after. The strimmer cut the bits of grass area the lawnmower couldnt handle. My garden was a jungle inherited from tenant b4. It now is truly tamed. Didn't do edges as its my dogs garden I just let them run free with a watchful eye. But strimmer was noisy yet so efficient. My son was impressed and said was pricey but made light work of my jungle.

Excellent, essential garden tool
The best strimmer I’ve ever bought, powerful, great battery life. Highly recommended.

Great product, the spools are an annoying issue.
Good product, well built, love the no cord or petrol aspect, does the job really well and can be used to edge as well as strim. Quite powerful and good battery life. Only issue really is the auto unwind spools supplied with it, don't auto unwind and break quite regularly so now looking for a stronger spools alternative.

Grass strimer.
Good value for money quite heavy for females to use suggest the harness that you can buy with it.....very powerful will slice through nettles with ease.

Exstrimly Good
It took a little while to assemble the strimmer (tip - the diagrams are towards the back of the thick multilingual manual, the English text near the front - use bookmarks!), and text/diagrams not 100% clear (more like 80-90%). Once assembled, it worked very well. Contrary to a few reviews, I found it quite manageable, not too heavy, although maybe someone a bit slighter might need a shoulder strap. Battery life seems good. One point to note: the strimmer line is automatically fed out 1cm each time you stop the device, so don't stop/start frequently or you will waste a lot of line! I noticed that when the battery got close to exhaustion, while the strimmer still worked effectively (although noticeably less so than on a full charge), line didn't get automatically fed out.I previously used a petrol; strimmer and am very pleased to move across to this strimmer (normally recharged via the solar panels). It is marginally less powerful than the old petrol one, but that is an advantage as the petrol one kicked up lots more debris/stones, etc. One other useful feature: an adjustable plant protector which you can extend out the front to stop your plants/shrubs/trees etc, being flayed by the strimmer line. It's also convenient as I deliberately bought the 36v model which is compatible with my Bosch cordless lawn mower.Recommended.

Fantastic Machine. Easy to assemble and use
So easy to use, whip it out and use, no having to go for petrol, struggling to start it, stinking of exhaust fumes and petrol. Its a tough little machine that gets the Job done. Got through a patch of four foot nettles in no time. I've a big garden so I will have to invest in an extra battery£120 (very pricey) or I may buy a bosch cordless mower (interchangeable batteries)to replace the corded Bosch i've had for years. It lasted about forty minutes going full tilt almost all of the time without the battery getting hot, and after a seventy minute recharge did another forty minutes. The auto feed works better than the bump feed on my petrol strimmer. Agree with other reviews it is a little heavy after thirty mins, Glad I bought it, petrol strimmer is going out for the scrap collectors.

Great for what I need.
I bought this as needed an new strimmer. My old one was 9 years old but still worked well. It was just noisy and the cable annoyed me getting caught all the time. I was looking at a leaf blower and will also need a lawnmower next year again to replace a 9 year old one for the same reasons.Since the batteries are interchangeable I thought I’d treat myself.I used it for first time today. It is about 4 times quieter than my electric one. My first thought was it wasn’t working properly due to how quiet it was. But it was indeed cutting the blades and although not as fast at spinning it was a quicker job as I didn’t have to do 2 passes or stop to untangle wiring. It even went into the walled corners better. My only thought was the angle of the arm to the cutting head, it’s not adjustable. So you have to compensate by holding differently.I’m not tall and if I was it may be harder to use.But as a strimmer it works perfectly. My lawn is about 14m x 5m. The little 2ah battery then went into the leaf blower and I managed to blow all the leaves off the whole grass area then blowing the patio and path of 40m squared. The battery went flat right at the end.Great little unit. I will be buying the lawnmower to complete the set.

Just not worth it.
I have had a petrol Husqvana strimmer for 20-odd years and it still works fine, however I thought that a cordless strimmer might be more convenient. Here are the problems:1. The machine is quite heavy and markedly weighted toward the strimmer end. This means that there is a lot of weight on the forward handle and almost none on the rear. Its tiring and you have limited control. It would benefit from a harness.2. The strimmer is single speed, with no soft start - and that speed is fast. With the lack of control any subtlety about careful strimming round plants is out of the window.3. The spool, which should slide gracefully along the ground, has a flat cylinder end with a sharp edge, rather than slightly domed underside. This means that it regularly catches on the ground and digs in. The cutting twine apertures are set low in the spool and this soon carves up your nice lawn!4. The trimmer gobbles up a great deal of twine - expensive and leave bits of plastic all over your garden.Overall - I have gone back to the Husqvana
