True CCF, good quality and price!
The product is of good quality and is true closed cell foam. see my pictures for the thickness. I am installing in my doors and trunk for car stereo. I think it is the best value for the money and the coverage of 36 square feet is amazing! the size is 1 long roll which you can cut to shape any way you need which is good. Installation is a breeze with the sticky backing to it. it makes the install go much faster then having to use your own adhesive. this is decent for noise level but is made for vibrations decoupling to stop rattles from bass. you could paur it with butyl sound deadener and you would have a really quiet cabin! I'm sure the noise level would be quieter just with this, but I'm using it to help stop resonant vibration of plastic trim pieces and smooth out my subwoofers bass. I am also installing butyl sound deadener on the main metal. 50% butyl coverage on metal, 60-70% coverage on inner plastic trim panels as well as the bottom of my false floor and also on top of my butyl pieces as a dual install. this will stop all flexing as well as help with cabin gain and make the interior quiet and your doors won't sound hollow when you shut them. This does also help some with outside ambient noise when used in tandum with the butyl. I'll use 50-72 square feet of this for my glb250 and the same for butyl. for the quality and money you cannot go wrong. you will be extremely happy.

Better Than Siless Foam โ Great Adhesion and Solid Sound Deadening
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Iโve used several sound deadening materials over the years โ from Noico to Siless โ and honestly, this one surprised me. I used it inside my doors and rear panels during a full audio upgrade on my truck, and it made a noticeable difference in road noise and vibration control. What really stood out was how well it sticks. Compared to Siless foam, this adhered way better, especially on slightly curved or uneven metal surfaces. I didnโt have to fight with it or go back and re-press areas โ once it was down, it stayed down. Installation was easy with a roller and a heat gun for tighter spots. It's also noticeably cheaper than some of the name-brand options, which is great when you're trying to cover a whole vehicle without spending a fortune. Pros: โ Excellent adhesion โ better than Siless in my experience โ Reduces road noise and vibration effectively โ Flexible and easy to work with โ Great value for the price Cons: โ ๏ธ Backing paper can tear if you rush the peel (go slow) โ ๏ธ Doesn't have brand hype โ but still performs like a premium option

Worth it for older vehicles that need some help
The sound deading material holds to curves well. It sticks to the bare/painted metal of a 30 year old vehicle well. I used it to cover the back hatch of a xj along with the wheel well areas and the back hatch and I still have several feet that I intend on putting on the floor boards when I pull that carpet up later. Since I had the cat stolen from me... The jeep is loud and this helped calm down the noise in the cab so I can hear things again. Without a decibel meter I cannot tell you how much the reduction was but... The rattle from the back and the feel in the seat is better. There will need to be more put in to fully help. This was the cheapest material I could find for the size, it works well and covers quite a bit of area. I would buy it again and I probably will when I pull the headliner down. As for heat, summer is coming and I am hoping this helps keep the back cooler. We will see what happens. My goal with the jeep is to build a nice daily driver for a cheap as I can, think low car, so far I am doing pretty well at that.

Install only clean products.
Great Value and Noticeable Noise Reduction Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2025 I used the VOISEN 157 MIL sound deadening mat on my truck cab and doors, and the difference was immediately noticeable. Road noise, vibration, and rattles dropped a lot โ especially on the highway and when towing. The cabin feels tighter and more solid, and even my audio system sounds cleaner with better bass response. The material itself is thick and flexible enough to mold around corners and contours, and the adhesive backing sticks very well once pressed down with a roller. It feels just as solid as some of the bigger-name brands Iโve used but for a fraction of the cost. My only small complaint is that the foil layer can tear if youโre not careful when cutting or repositioning, and the adhesive gets messy on hotter days, so wear gloves and plan your layout before sticking it down. Also, itโs a little heavy once installed โ but thatโs expected at 4 mm thickness. Overall, this is a great mid-priced sound deadener that performs far above what I expected. If you want a quieter ride or better-sounding audio setup without spending a fortune, this VOISEN mat is a solid choice. Would buy again โ 4 stars

Great product
Be sure you know where you are placing this, because the adhesive is REALLY good! This material is easy to work with and does the job fabulously. It doesn't seem like it would hold up to heat well so keep away from engine compartment. I used it inside all my doors and trunk lid to keep noise and vibration down.

Not a miracle worker for sound but it makes a diffrence.
Purchased to wrap some areas of the duct work in my house to help with the transition of sound from the basement throughout the rest of the house. While not perfect, it does make a noted decrease in volume and clarity of sound that gets echoed through our ducts and that's all I needed it to be able to do! The adhesive works great and application was very easy. The material isn't too heavy to work with and light enough to stick upside down without sagging or pulling off an aluminum duct. And was easy enough to trim with a razor blade and scissors (although the scissors needed to be cleaned to remove the adhesive residue afterwards) If you need sound dampening/deadening material, this one hundred percent does the job. Combine it with open cell sound foam and it makes a space both quieter and with less sound transmission to adjacent rooms.

Price, ease of installation and performance were spot on
I installed this in my 2000 xj full interior. Roof, wheel wells, doors, floor and the pillars. It was a lot of work but worth it. I also put down noico deadening mat first for an extra layer for noise. Im in phx az and it made a big difference in noise and huge difference in the heat radiating into the jeep. The ac doesnt have to try near as hard as before. Keep in mind once its stuck its stuck, dont let it fold over on its self you'll never get it apart. I cleaned all the deadening matt with brake cleaner before applying just to be sure the surface was clean. You wont regret the time put in.

It's closed cell insulation, not rocket science
Honestly this is the best bang for your buck. Adhesive sticks, easy to apply (fits in the car nicely, easy to cut), and it is quite durable. After putting on a deadener (that must be the first layer for cars!), this is both a great sound insulator and decent thermal insulator. Good thickness, was defintely as adverstised. It resulted in a noticable decrease of sound (works well). Don't waste your money on other stuff.
