The lamp holder does the job very well
I have an old ceramic christmas tree that is illuminated by an electric light bulb. I have had it for sixty odd years it ts hand made and one of a kind.The bulb holder broke so i was unable to use it last Christmas but i was able to repair it with the bulb holder so now it is back to its original condition and this coming Christmas it will shine once again.
