I’ve had this for a short time, but so far it’s been great! Nothing will truly replace getting a massage by another person, but this massager has been so effective with me rubbing out my own knots. With the way it’s designed, it’s been easy to sit and rub the knots in my back for a long time as opposed to attempting to reach back there with my opposite arm. Very easy to assemble, durable and a great price!

There are not enough words to describe just how outstanding this well engineered product does for those irritating muscular knots that just don’t go away. Say goodbye to those nasty knots once and for all once you use this device. Made out of a very strong carbon steel with rubber hand grips that feel superb when in the grasp. The tool is perfectly sized, so it’s easy to move to various points on the body. It is not cumbersome at all. The massager is designed so well in terms of being angled to make moving the massager easy. The beauty of this product is it has a pivotal ball joint that fits into a a flat rubber wall non-slip wall support brace where one can lean their back on the massage head to get more pressure on the knot. There’s also a great booklet that comes with it, that talks about all the ways one can use the massager. It can be used on the hips, neck, back etc etc… Believe me you will not be disappointed with this product once purchased. I highly recommend it for anyone who has extreme tightness in their necks and shoulders, and who deal with the burden of those pesky knots. This is the knot terminator, believe me!!! Takes like 2 minutes to assemble. So easy!!!

This is a must have! It is so easy to use and I don't have to keep telling my husband "a little more to the left...no, my left...almost there...ouch too hard..." lol I have several trigger points in my neck, shoulders, back and feet, this device is perfect for being able to hit the right spot and then apply the right amount of pressure to relieve the pain. It was easy to put together and is very solid.

I purchased the it to help with persistent pain in my right shoulder from sleeping on that side. Does the job, definitely allows for some added leverage to hit trigger points and pressure.Build well too, in a large guy and there's no way I can see bending this bar

I thought maybe this thing was a gimmick. As a lisenced massage therapist Ive seen plenty of self care tools that dont work. This thing is worth every penny. Very well designed and comes with a detailed instruction manual. Ive used a theracane for years and this thing is so much better for the simply fact it has a base you can rest on the wall or a table and lean into to apply more force with just body weight. The base rotates like a ball and socket joint so its absolutely incredible to get those awkward angles while still maintaining enough pressure!! Thats the holy grail of a self care tool in my eyes. Such a simple concept but incredibly effective and brings so much relief to me after a long day of massaging.

For me the top two muscle canes are back buddy and muscle hook. Muscle hook has zero give (it doesn't bend at all) so all the pressure goes to your back, but it has blunt ends, it doesn't have an 'acorn' point. Back buddy bends a little, but it has an acorn point.This device has best of both worlds. Doesn't bend, and has the acorn attachment.Not only that, you can get way more specific about the movement and angle from the way you handle the device. Not only that, but you apply much more pressure with less effort thanks to the two hand system.There is also a flat end at the other side of the pressure end, which you can use to press against a wall for even more pressure, but I haven't done that much, I can get enough with just using my hands. Also, using the wall kinda dampens the specificity in movement/angle.I don't use my muscle hook or back buddy anymore, this is my go to.Another comparable products are the spike balls sold by rumble roller, the soft version and the hard version. I think with the hard version, you could get more pressure because it's your body against the floor, but you don't have much specificity in movement.Besides the self massage device I designed myself, I use this device the most for self message, with a rumble roller knockoff in 3rd (i have the original rumble roller firm, but there is an al iexpress knockoff which is actually more firm, so I use that instead).Kudos to the designer. As someone who prototypes self message device as well, I can only imagine the fun and fulfillment that went into making this.
