Most of the cheaper belts call themselves leather even if they only have a very thin layer of leather over an inner core (sometimes just cardboard). This belt is full leather all the way through. The buckle also seems robust. The sizing seems about right, if you follow their instructions on how to get the correct length.Unlike some other belts, this one is packed in a plastic bag rather than a presentation gift box. That was good for me, and means less landfill. Arguably it would be even better if not packed in a plastic bag, but I guess they wanted to give it some protection against scratches etc.
