I got the 1TB Dragon Edition. Appearance-wise, I love how cool it looks. The writing/reading speed is great, but keep in mind that I have mostly stored photos, graphic files, videos and GIFs. I am using a Macbook, connecting this to a dongle, and it heats up when transferring, but not to the point of overheating. I heard great reviews about this product. I am trusting all my files with this, and I hope this will last me a long time.

Hella badass it does EXACTLY what I need it to do which is play games and protect ALL my game stuff.

The product is great, light and small. On the other hand, I had complications to understand and install the software about security safe for storing files.

Good news is that the dragon design is nice. Bad news, slow as molasses backing up data to this SSD: rate was about 20 Mbps on this SSD, on another Sandisk SSD (different version), transfer rate up to about 100 Mbps. Both devices spec'ed for USB 3.2 Gen 2. Other customers have commented on the slowness of this SSD, I should have read their comments before making this purchase. Returned.

Got it mainly for the dragon design which looks really cool in my opinion. Apart from this, the built is pretty plasticky and do note this is based on “entry level” SDSSDE30 series (comes with non interchangeable USB C to USB A cable) as compared to the Extreme or Extreme Pro version which has studier design. Good for what’s it’s worth given the cost and real world read / write speeds of high 700s mb/s and high 600s mb/s
