I tried to educate myself on how these clocks work, but missed that this one would not work in India and it's not returnable so I've lost Rs.6700

Large Readable Acurate
What a nice clock. I had used for over 20 years an old digital clock with red LED and wall cord. it was sort of fading and I could not always see the time from across the room as the red numbers were getting kind of blurred for my vision if i did not have my glasses on, like when just waking up. It still works good but I thought why not modernize. I bought an inexpensive digital clock with black LED. It was about 1 inch tall numbers, larger than my previous red clock and more readable. It ran on batteries but did not keep accurate time, over a month it was a couple of minutes fast. I've reset the time like 3 times this year. So I needed a different solution. I haven't used a wrist watch since I left High School and I use mainly my computers at home and work plus various iPad and iPhone for time. But still when I'm at home doing something not computerish, I like to look at the wall clock, but it would be nice if it stayed in sync with my other modern devices. I play online games and start time of events are precious and i like to use my time wisely while waiting for an event to start, but not be late because the wall clock is wrong.I settled on this larger Marathon Clock. Digital and the Atomic Self-Setting feature. Left it on over-night and this morning it shows a strong signal, i'm on the beach in North Carolina, very far from Colorado and it shows a strong signal. The digital are large, like the length of my fore finger and i'm able to see these from across the room at 15 feet and while in the next room at 20 some feet which is as far as i can go inside. at that distance the numbers on the side for data and temperature are not readable by me but the large time is so clear.I had no problems setting clock up, pressing buttons and getting the time, zone and other features set. Oh there's a manual but i have't opened it yet. No problem as clock was easy to set up. I did read the one sheet that says to leave on overnight and it will pickup signals better. So i waited and it did and the radio signal indicator is fully 3 bars and it even now knows it is on DST and OK.I think i also like the addition of having the month/day and day-of-week shown. I usually know those but sometimes I do have moments and it helps. One thing I want to mention, which i did not consider at time of purchase, but is not really a problem for me, is this particular model does not have a an auto night light, in the dark you can't see it. But i usually don't look at the time while i'm sleeping and anyway i do have Alexa I can ask for the time in the dark so it's not all that bad. But I did just want to note the auto night-lite feature is available on some of this manufacturers' other clocks if that is something you need.
