This item is junk! After less than 10 lock/unlock cycles the item stopped working. It no longer will lock or unlock.

Why I purchased it:bought this for my moms car which had the door latch needed replace along with the actuator.Pros:-fit her 2012 kia sorento perfectly-a year later is still working perfectly fine-half the price than name brand-easy to install once you get the door panel thing off.Cons:-no issues as of now, will update if it goes bad in the near futureI like to always mention I do not get paid in any way for leaving my reviews so I try to be as honest and helpful as possible since I make most of my buying decisions by reading others reviews.

Excellent replacement Kia Sorento 2011 left rear door lock mechanism
It works as expected. Interesting thing is that the one that broke works perfectly fine when placed upside down.I will just need to stop the kids pulling on the handle as I am pressing the unlock button.
