STAFFORDSHIRE GARDEN FURNITURE Chunky Solid Wooden Garden Bench, Tan, Wood Legs

Wonderful, sturdy and well built bench that looks great in the garden and is comfy to sit in even without cushions. Comes assembled and is delivered by the company directly; who kept me up to date throughout a short delay. Delivery man placed it where I asked as I am disabled so unable to move such a heavy object, that was much appreciated as well. Great product, service and price.

Solid, well made bench. Arrived on time and was was placed in our garden fully assembled. The bench is really good and really good value for money. The manufacturer kept us up to date regarding delivery times

I am very happy with my bench which arrived first thing this morning. The delivery guy was lovely and carried the bench into my back garden for me. It is a solid bench that won't get blown around in what can be a very windy garden. It is well made and beautifully finished and brilliant value for money. The dates are automatically generated by Amazon which you need to ignore and speak to the company direct about expected delivery dates. I emailed a lady called Vicky who was brilliant at answering my questions straightaway. Very good communication. Also, she said that because the bench is made from softwood, it is not a good idea to use oil-based treatments on it and to treat it as soon as possible after delivery. I was so pleased she told me that because I was going to get oil-based but have now opted for Curpinols Garden shades in Willow Green which is water-based. Though it won't be getting painted for a while because there's a lot of rain forecast for quite a while. So for now, it is under a bench cover until we get some drier weather. Cannot recommend this company enough and I will be ordering the little table to go with my bench soon.

This is excellent garden furniture - I thoroughly recommend. We bought this bench, two chairs a larger table and a smaller table of the same make - you can mix and match for what you need - it’s the Staffordshire Garden Furniture storefront so you can get it all from the same seller. It comes assembled and customer service was excellent. It’s really sturdy too as we have an elderly relative who needs it to be sturdy. What we have done - my suggestion- is to finish it with Sadolin Clear Coat which really brings out the nice honey colour maintaining the wood grain and makes it weather proof - 2-3 coats needed. You can then put cushions and pillows on it for the warmer months. I may but some more of this

So good we bought another one. They are solid yet comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Good solid well made bench, lovely style, service and delivery was very good and put in place where I wanted it on the patio (this was very helpful, as my husband and myself can not lift heavy items) Excellent. Mrs T Byrne

I am absolutely delighted with this garden bench. The quality and workmanship are brilliant. So pleased with such a strong piece of garden furniture . It will, I am sure, last for many years. The delivery was good and placed where I wanted in the garden by the delivery driver which was so helpful.

We were very pleased with this bench when it arrived and immediately started spending sunny late summer evenings on it with a glass of something nice. It came coated with some kind of basic wood treatment and looked good to me, so I ignored wifey's suggestion that I add some additional wood protection or varnish. Silly me! A few months later, it was green. I finally read up on it and realised my error. I scrubbed it, sanded the flat surfaces and applied an exterior wood varnish. And now, many months later, it still looks good. We were so pleased that a year later, we bought the matching 6-seater table, chair and bench set, which meant a lot more wood treatment work for me... but should last a good few years.
