I purchased this pergola from Yoleny and their customer service truly impressed me. When I removed it from my garage and started installing it almost a year later due to moving home, I realized a few parts were missing from the original package. I reached out to their support team and they went above and beyond to help resolve the issue. A special thank you to Dee, who was incredibly patient and worked with the factory to get the missing parts sent to me. Dee kept me updated and made the whole process smooth. I also appreciate the support from Iris, Minnie, and Dj. It’s rare to see a company stand behind their product even a year later. The pergola is so worth it especially the material quality, sturdiness and it looks great. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend.

This took my husband and I about 6 hours total to put together, so it's not a quick set up but it is super simple. You'll definitely need a ladder, and power tools will make it MUCH faster. We love the way this turned out on our deck! It's the perfect size and the louvers are really easy to use to open or close for more shade. It is SUPER sturdy as well, we live in a very windy area right off Lake Erie so wind was one of our big concerns and I'll tell you that if you anchor this properly it's going nowhere. Love the curtains included as well, they are great quality! This is an amazing permanent installation on our deck and we are loving it. Wish I would have splurged on it sooner!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It’s risky to buy such a large expensive item online, but this worked out well. It took 2-3 men almost 2 days to put it together (lots of parts) and anchor it into the patio. I really like the ability to open and close the louvers, although I usually leave them closed. It went through the winter and wind and rain very well with no sign of damage or wear so far. The rain and melting snow drain off the top well. Not a heavy snow load this year but it seems sturdy enough that I’m not concerned. The curtains are pretty heavy and bulky so I haven’t used them. Value for money: Custom built pergolas (wood or metal) are extremely expensive where I live ($10-15k) so this was an option I could afford, even with the $1000 in labor to build and anchor it. It also doesn’t require the maintenance of wood. Overall, I’m happy with it.

We went into it expecting that it was going to take us the better part of a day to put it together. It did. But it wasn't too difficult. The most time was spent trying to understand the directions. There was one part we just couldn't figure out, so we skipped it. Now that it is up, we understand the piece is supposed to go over some of the seams with the sealant to prevent leakage from those seams when it rains. Not a big deal to go back and put them in now that we see the purpose. I did have a few louvres that were bent. I reached out to customer support. It took more back and forth than I would have liked. They first offered me $30 instead of replacing them, When I said no, I wanted them replaced because of how they were bent it was impacting the water resistance. Then it was like starting over and having to repeat myself on what the part number was and how many I needed. All in all, I had the replacement parts within 1.5 weeks. Not bad in the grand scheme of things. The fact that it comes with the curtains and the netting makes this a better value than most I have seen. The description says the courier will call you to schedule delivery. That wasn't the case for me. They came Fedex and they were just going to be dropped off. I had to pay to schedule the delivery on a different day because we were out of town when they were planning to bring them. Someone mentioned that they were surprised how loud it is when it rains. I didn't quite understand until I experienced it in person. The drainage system routes all the water down the posts of the pergola. As the water drips and it is pinging off the metal it is a sound that is noticeable. I find it pleasant. I don't think it is loud enough that it would be an issue if you were trying to have a conversation. I liked it so much I ordered a second one to go over the other portion of my patio. I was just going to use a large umbrella to go over the dining table. But this looks so nice and works so well at keeping things dry - I ordered a second one. Finally - I didn't want to drill into my newly poured concrete patio. I ordered some 12x12 concrete planters. We poured about 6 inches of concrete into the bottom of those with a PVC pipe in the middle of the concrete so the water can drain out the bottom- and then bolted the pergola posts to that concrete instead. Yes it raises the height of the pergola, but I think that is a plus. Neither of us are exceptionally tall I am 5'7" and he is 5'10" - but the six inches of extra height feels better. If you do this - listen when your partner says, "shouldn't we pour the concrete first so when we assemble the pergola, we can just set the posts into that right away?" - needless to say we didn't do that and we had to get jacks to lift up the entire pergola high enough to set it back down into the planters. We will do it my way when we put together the second one. It looks really nice with some plants in those planters on top of the concrete.

Fantastic product. We are constantly in extremes of weather. Hot and cold as well as wind and rain. This pergola has held up to 70 mph winds. Blankets of snow and downpours of rain. Drainage works great. We have used the louvers as directed. Love it and the curtains are great for blocking direct sun and winds. 2 guys assembled it in a couple hours. Said it was easy.

This was a nightmare to put together, but after it was all said and done it looked pretty good, EXCEPT when putting up the curtain on you can see how cheap the fabric is more so the where the straps are attached you can see the cheapness and then I found some holes in the fabric. Can’t get any help to replace this!

After researching several products, this is what I chose and could not be happier! It arrived before expected with all four boxes at once. The seller took the time to send an email advising to look out for the four separate boxes and that helped when tracking them. The assembly definitely requires several people as you have to place the assembled pieces on top of the base structure. The quality of the material seems excellent, we will have to see how it holds up over time. My spouse decided to get different concrete anchors to ensure it would remain sturdy and standing. It is beyond functional for our needs and I’m happy that I decided on this choice as my purchase!

I purchased this for our patio. I took my time and built most of it myself in about 6-8 hours (including some breaks and unpacking everything). We got the wood-grain version. The louvers are white on it and you can really tell a difference with how much cooler it is under the pergola. I have to guess the white helps reflect some heat. The quality is impressive and while it’s not clear in the description, each of the four sections on the roof open and close independently. There are built in gutters around the structure that divert water from the louvers out to the sides and down the legs. I have heard others complain that the instructions aren’t clear. I watched a YouTube video of a couple putting this together and picked up some tips from them. The instructions are all illustrations - which can get frustrating) but overall, if you’ve put anything like this together before, you should be just fine. It’s an awesome addition to our patio and I’d highly recommend this to anyone!
