I have wanted one of these for a long time so was pleased to review one as a vine customer.It comes in a nice sturdy box and the assembly instructions on the back are pictorial as well as written and are really good.The feeder itself is made of really thick clear plastic and the suction pads are very strong. You also get a spare one.On the downside, the items were individually packed in plastic bags and whilst it was nicely packed, I was a bit dismayed to be left with 5 plastic bags when I we really should be trying to cut down on plastic waste.The other issue was when trying to put it together. The first two pieces would not slide together because there were two plastic lugs and also extraneous plastic 'frills' left over from manufacturing. I had to use my nail drill to grind all of this off to enable the two pieces to slide together.Once it was assembled, it was very sturdy and the suction pads stuck to the glass straight away It has been on my window for over a week now and there are no signs of it falling off and the Starlings are starting to take an interest but the reflection in the glass is causing them to struggle where to land.I think that in very cold weather, they would find this extra food providing there was not too much movement in the room.For £9.99 it is a nice strong item, just a shame that you need files or a rotating drill to be able to assemble it.

Very clever design. Are enjoying seeing junior starlings in very close proximity.
