Got this box of 18 bags of treats for my dog to try out. The box includes 3 different flavours (chicken, duck and venison). For me as a pet owner it's very important that my dogs treats are easy to break and have a high meat content. All of these treats are extremely easy to break into smaller pieces which is great for training. The meat content is quite questionable so let's look into this: Duck strips: 81.3 MAX duck breast Chicken strips: 91% MAX chicken breast Venison: 51% MIN + 40% MIN beef liver I found it quite interesting that both duck and chicken strips have a max meat content marked which from my understanding means the meat content might vary between packs and from all I know the meat content might be as low as 50%. The Venison pack threw me off the most as it has a decent meat content however, it's a mixture of 2 different meats and it was the most fatty one out all 3 flavours having 6% fat compared to duck and chicken which had no more than 2%. In general my dog isn't a picky eater and doesn't have any dietary requirements so of course he didn't really care about what's inside however, if your dog has a sensitive stomach then these fluctuations in meat content or mixtures of meats might upset their stomach.
