No! Not at all, just use them like a usual face mask twice a week at maximum

How do you use them. Do you apply direct to skin or into the device. If so how?

These masks are the small circular shaped one . My advice is to download FOREO app it will talk you through how to use under the Treatment option . But to answer your question in brief . Lift off the clear plastic circle off of the UFO place the little mask onto the gold covered area and replace the plastic ring over the top to secure it . It now ready to use via the ufo programs. You can also purchase full size Foreo face masks that are like conventional masks with those put mask over whole face again on FOREO app go to sheet mask option and run the FOREO over the top of the full sheet mask .
