Although these caramel and cinnamon flavor are exceptionally tasty, they were NOT what i was originally trying to buy which was just caramel as it was listed originally. Right before they shipped out, the entire post was changed to a different product packaging that was listed as caramel and cinnamon, which is a bummer because i really wanted just plain caramel. However, THAT part being said, i will review the flavor they sent me as i of course decided to try it since it was already here. I am unable to eat gluten, dairy, bananas and acai berry for health reasons so naturally i tend to be on the lookout for anything that is free from those especially the gluten and dairy since those are the most challenging. I've no clue what a stroopwaffle is, but somewhere in my Amazon browsing this showed up as a gluten free item and i was immediately intrigued. When i saw it was also dairy free, and that it has really good reviews and sounded amazing by the description i knew i had to try it despite the steep price it's listed for. I really don't care much for cinnamon flavored things (like Graham crackers ect) so had it been properly listed that way to begin with, i probably wouldn't have tried it. Even so, it's actually delicious and i love the texture of it. The caramel was chewy and soft and the waffle is fantastic. There is a Graham cracker flavor though which just isn't my usual thing so iud you like that kind of flavor then you'll love these. I really do wish these came in regular caramel because i would absolutely order more of these. I am going to eat the rest but then i may have to order from another shop i found with similar products offering regular caramel, vanilla and even a dark chocolate one. But who knows? Maybe by the time i finish this box they'll have really grown on me LOL. As for the very minor details i didn't care much for: these are ONLY large enough to fit onto the top of a regular standard sized coffee or tea cup, which is disappointing for me to use with my morning Joe because i typically use a cup slightly bigger than that for coffee. Secondly, as i mentioned before, the original purchase was for a regular caramel stroopwaffle, NOT the caramel and cinnamon flavor they sent to me last minute instead and i was wanting more of a sweet waffle flavor, NOT a Graham cracker. Third, the price is a bit steep honestly. They're not that big and the box only comes with 12 of these. These will have to remain as a treat once in awhile as opposed to the morning routine or easy afternoon tea snack i was hoping for. All in all though, I'm giving these a great review because they are very good and well made. They are soft and chewy even though i thought they would end up being hard and disappointing and they weren't at all. I highly recommend these.

Oh my goodness. My dream has come true! Since going gluten/dairy free, a lot of my old favorites (including stroopwafels) became off-limits. Imagine my delight when I stumbled across these amazing treats! They are individually packaged and perfectly portable, which I appreciate. The aroma and the flavor send me straight to heaven every time. They are soft, perfectly hinted with cinnamon, and satisfying to the last bite. They have the creamy sweetness I expected, but were not overly sweet, which was very nice. I have had them straight out of the package, and also warmed atop my mug of tea or coffee, and they are insanely good either way. I am definitely buying these again, and will try the other flavors I can get my hands on as well!!! Thank you for making a stroopwafel that Gf/Df folks can enjoy!!

I love that these are gluten and dairy free. I totally appreciate that and it does taste good. It's just too sweet for me. The first ingredient is sugar. So, that would be why. :) I think many people would love to eat these. They are a bit pricey too but if you like them, it would probably be worth the cost as it's hard to find stuff with decent ingredients, and gluten/dairy free too. Oh, they are also addictive. A nice treat, but like I said, too sweet for me.

Much like everyone else in this review section, I have a plethora of food allergies (tomatoes, dairy, spinach, bananas, gluten, corn), so you can imagine how difficult it is to buy prepackaged snack foods - and unfortunately, I have a big sweet tooth. There's an awesome gluten-free cafe up the street from where I live, but when they're closed - or when I'm sick like I am currently - I can't drag my bag of bones out of the house. And when you have an older sister who returns home from Starbucks with a delicious looking stroopwafel in her hands and you have no baked goods in the house yourself..., your fingers start to wander to Amazon's website for gluten and dairy-free stroopwafels. Lo and behold, I found this beauty right here! I placed my order and they arrived today, in perfect condition, neatly supported in a box with those lovely little air bubbles to prevent broken cookies. When I tell you these things are addictive...oh. my goodness. One is plenty and yet not enough! I feel like, when you have a food allergy or sensitivity, when you find a food that you can eat, you enjoy it 47% more. It must be a law. I enjoyed the first one with a cup of hot tea (tomorrow morning it will be coffee, rest assured) and it was a delicious pick-me-up. Stroopwafels are a "moment" to me, and by that I mean they invite you to make a cup of something hot, sit down and relax. I love that about these. (I know, bit of a stretch there, but these are really that good.) As mentioned above, I do have a corn allergy, and that does include corn starch. So far I've had no issues digesting these, and my heart is happy with that. I will be reordering these long before I run out. My takeaway? Buy these. I want them in gluten-free stores!!

The taste is Ok, but you better have good teeth to eat this thing and bite off a piece and chew very hard. I bought another brand of gluten free stroopwafels on Amazon and they don't have this issue. So much for the authentic european ones.

Sweet Amsterdam Stroopwafels definitely hit the spot as I was sitting in the kitchen one afternoon reminiscing about my days walking around Amsterdam and enjoying stroopwafels at the street market. In my opinion, they are best enjoyed with a tasty cup of strong black coffee as the sweet caramel of the stroopwafel balances out the strength of the coffee. Packaging is compact and you can easily eat these stroopwafels on the go :) These stroopwafels are the closest to the real thing with great organic ingredients compared to their competitors. The one thing that stood out to me besides the amazing taste is that they are dairy free which is rare to find! I am hooked and will be buying them again!

There are three things I always made sure to do and have during my many visits to Amsterdam. First, take a canal ride (every tour is different and wonderful). Second, have coffee (there is no beating European coffee. It's rich and a life-changing experience). Third, eat stroopwafels. These large waffle cookies are rich and buttery, centered with an equally rich caramel. Superb. I just discovered that my diet must now be both gluten and dairy free, so I'm on a mission to find foods that will accommodate my new food lifestyle and be tasty. Enter these organic and gluten-free stroopwafels. They are definitely lighter than the original version, but I actually like that they are. The waffle cookies have a great texture and taste, as does the honey "caramel." I highly, highly recommend these treats for anyone, gluten-free or not.

These were recommended to me by a friend and I was extremely glad I listened!! From the beginning the shipping was super fast and the packaging was perfect. So when they arrived I was in the middle of my morning coffee so I thought I'd give it a try and I must say it is the perfect pairing. Having never tried these before I was pleasantly surprised at the crunchy outside and the gooey caramel inside. They are full of flavor and very filling for their size. My kids love them too so i'll be reordering more than I thought. I would totally recommend these to all of my family and friends!!
