I run two separate three-monitor setups for business, writing, and video production, so I’m very particular about display quality, color consistency, and eye fatigue over long sessions. That turned out to be the right move. This 24” BenQ GW2490T is now my center monitor on my primary workstation, flanked by two 27” BenQ displays on either side. The consistency across all three is exactly what I was looking for. The screen on this unit is excellent — sharp text, vibrant and accurate color, and plenty of adjustment options to dial things in exactly how you want them. Having a matched BenQ set across multiple screen sizes has made a huge difference in workflow and visual consistency. BOTTOM LINE: In my experience — especially working within Apple-based systems and testing a wide range of monitors over the years — you simply won’t find a better monitor in this size and price range that delivers this level of clarity, flexibility, and comfort. These have great color and brightness. Having a stand that moves up and down was an important factor in the decision to get these and they work really well. This a good size to have two monitors. Two 27" monitors is too much real estate. The optional software that changes all the settings works on display port and hdmi. They have internal speakers but they are really only useful for things like listening to voice mail - they are not loud - however there is a 3.5in output jack for external speakers or headphones. I've purchased about 12 of these for work and 2 for home.

Not a bad monitor, has good picture, decent color, light sensor is nice...but some minor issues and so I returned it. It doesn't wake from sleep sometimes if the screen is turned off from the PC, it doesn't run reliably on pure sine inverter without losing signal randomly sometimes, and the screen goes black, and probably the worst thing about this monitor is that the base of the stand is freakishly way too large and takes up all the desk space...that was the real show stopper for me. But overall, not bad for the price. If the base wasn't so large I probably would have kept it. Also, the speakers do work, but they don't sound very good, but for basic sounds, they are ok.

One of the best monitors I’ve ever had. Great value

Okay, so the picture quality of this monitor is good. But…..the audio quality is horrible. Worse I have ever experienced with a monitor with internal speakers. So why did I give the monitor only 1-star? Well, the sound is so bad that it overwhelms everything else about the monitor. Read on. The first problem I had with the monitor was the volume level. Or lack thereof. I had to turn the monitor sound to the max…..100%. And my computer volume was also pushed to 100%. That netted an actual sound level that would be around 15%-20% on any other monitor speaker setup on the same computer. Unbelievable! The second problem was how tinny the sound was. It, as well, was horrible. This monitor's speakers have minimal sound separation (ie. musical instruments in a song), zero bass, zero mid-range, and very tinny highs. ALL tinny highs is the result. That is the reason for the 1-star. Audio this bad absolutely ruins what would otherwise be a nice computer monitor. Hopefully BenQ will investigate this major audio quality issue and fix it. If Dell can offer a monitor (same size) at the same price point with good sound using small internal speakers, BenQ should be able to do it as well. At least offer decent sound quality. We’re not expecting studio quality sound. There really is no excuse for speaker sound to be as horrible as this. Trust me, folks, I am not exaggerating with this review. I’m being very honest here with my review. I wasn’t expecting high-end sound. I was shocked it was this bad. I have owned quite a few computer monitors with internal speakers, with sound quality varying from maybe a 3-star to a 5-star. My 1-star for these is unfortunate but deserved. I hope BenQ fixes this issue.

This monitor is ideal for long LLM conversations and coding. The scrolling used to drive me nuts, but this monitor is a time saver. The ability to have physical 90° preset on the monitor is such a relief.

This is a review for the GW2490T. This monitor has full adjustability - height, tilt, swivel, whereas the $40 cheaper 2490 only tilts. I find full adjustability critical. Otherwise it looks like the two monitors are the same. Even for system alerts, the monitor's speakers are worthless. BenQ should just drop them. The bottom bezel is very wide (speakers?) but contain welcome on/off, and picture control buttons. No frustrating joystick on the back of the monitor. Picture control is also possible through a Windows program. The monitor has both HDMI and DP and an HDMI cable (no DP cable) is included. Under W10 HDMI it's plug and go. Picture quality looks good with very good viewing angles. I found it too bright but it was easy to adjust. With only 100Hz max this is largely a business/movie/etc. monitor. For some reason I had to manually tell windows to use 75Hz (the max my antique card could drive FHD) so check after you plug in the monitor. I'll be switching to W11 DP soon but don't expect any major differences. One star off for the excessive $40 price bump, the speakers and the bezel.

El monitor funciona muy bien, es fácil de instalar y empezar a utilizar. Asimismo, la calidad de la imagen y la intensidad de los colores es muy buena, me gusta que tiene la funcionalidad de cuidado de la vista, además de ser un monitor ergonómico. También, cabe resaltar que el tamaño que posee es bastante adecuado. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

Excellent monitor. The 100 Hz refresh rate is really smooth and noticable. The colours are quite good. Very sturdy stand with wide range of adjustments: tilt, swivel, height. The physical buttons are easy to use. Speakers are not bad in a pinch. I really like that the power cord has no power brick. so I guess the AC/DC converter is inside the screen. Makes desktop and cable management easier. Highly recommend. Haven't been disappointed by BENQ.

Good product! Easy on my eyes (I use it almost daily for work), good resolution! I haven't tried it for gaming though.

Ameeeeeee el mónitor, las pulgadas de la pantalla son las que necesitaba para tener abiertos varios archivos y pestañas ya que me encuentro realizando una tesis y se forzaban mucho mis ojos, ahora con la tecnología Eye-Care los siento más cuidados. Me gusta el acabado mate de la pantalla, hace que sea antirreflejante. Sin duda un excelente producto. Llegó por la modalidad de empaque seguro, es decir, existe la opción de ocultar la caja donde viene el monitor para que no sé vea que contiene y viene muy protegida con unicel para que no se rompa ya que ese era uno de mis miedos.

Muy buena calidad de materiales. El sistema Eye-care, es excelente.
