I’ve been really pleased with the COLAMY High Back Executive Office Chair. It was easy to assemble, feels solidly built, and the cushioning is genuinely comfortable — supportive without being too firm. The high back gives great posture support, especially during long stretches at the desk. The flip‑up arms are a brilliant feature, making it easy to slide the chair under the desk or create more space when needed. The leather finish looks smart and is easy to wipe clean, which is a bonus. Overall, it’s a great combination of comfort, adjustability, and style. A very good chair for home working or study, and excellent value for the quality.

I have just finished putting it together and I have to say, sat here on it for the first time, I am impressed. I am around 180cm (6ft) tall and around 85kg (13.5st) and this feels like a much better chair than I have used in office or at home. It feels sturdy and comfortable with a nice amount of back recline, back support and adjustments needed. Time will tell on longevity, but no reason to think this will not last. It also moves around on carpet well enough for me too. Putting it together is easy enough, don't make my mistake and fasten the arm bolts too tight before you added the back, you need a little wiggle room to get all 4 bolts in place before tightening up (as suggested in the decent instructions, to be fair ;-))

Delivery was fast, build time was quick and simple (circa 20-30 mins), had no issues with alignment (get all bolts locked into their threads before clamping the whole thing down!). The chair itself fits me like a glove (6ft medium sized guy) but I can understand why others have sizing issues as it is quite a rigid moulded design. It's nice and stylish. Only cons imho are: 1) I do feel it was somewhat over priced for what you get looking at it holistically (although for me I got a perfect chair for my purposes therefore I can accept the price tag). 2) I share the same concerns about the leather quality being not good, feels very much like faux or veneered leather. (Keep your finger nails short and don't wolf out I guess). 3) The bolt caps are a bit fiddly but swapping them in different holes resolved the problem.

This is the second Colamy office chair that I have bought (after the first one had been claimed by my wife for her desk!). This time I bought a slightly different one as it has the pump up lumbar adjuster which works very well & is slightly more comfortable than my wife's ( I haven't told her yet!). Like the first one it was delivered promptly & had the same comprehensive & easy to follow instructions & a shrink wrapped card with all the parts laid out , including an hexagonal tool for screwing in the screws. My only slight criticism is that the armrests & their holders are a silver colour but the ones on my wife's chair (which is dark brown) are black which is not nearly so noticeable & 'in your face'.

The most comfortable office chair I have had to date. Construction was a bit tricky, one awkward bolt turning a 15 minute job into more than an hour. This aside, Overall great quality, feels robust, and looks brilliant. Inflatable lumbar support is spot on.

Fabulous chair, really comfortable, the lumbar adjustment works really well. I no longer have pain in the right lumber region of my back which I had with my previous chair. Be careful when assembling the arms, its easy to get them the wrong way around then you'll wonder why the seat back won't fit. Pay attention to the markings on the seat when assembling. Also assemble the arms loosely then add the back with its screws and finally tighten up afterwards.

First off, lets get the delivery debacle out of the way: This package was delivered by UPS on a day when I wasn't in (and 4 days before the estimated delivery date, so I wasn't expecting it). There was no 'item out for delivery' email no phone call or text or anything so I was completely unaware the item was to be delivered. It was delivered sometime in the day and left outside in the rain, out of sight. With no delivery notification, I did not look for the package and it was dark when I got back, so it was left outside overnight in the rain. It was only when I took something out to the bin the next day that I found it. It was sodden! Now that's out of the way, lets talk about the chair. Once it had dried off, I was able to assemble it. Assembly was straight forward. The instructions were clear and I was able to assemble it on my own without needing any help with lifting, or steadying parts, etc. All the tools and fixings were included so I didn't even need to get my screwdriver out. Everything fits and nothing is misaligned or needing adjustment to make it fit. It just went together nicely. The chair itself has a nice high back. I am 6ft tall and my shoulders rest nicely against the back, and it's comfortable to lean back. The seat is nice and deep (back to front) so you sit in it rather than feeling perched like some other types of chair. The soft feel leather effect material is nice to the touch and warm to sit on. The height adjustment and tension on the spring are easy to set up to your prefered tilt strength and height. As for the quality, I have been fortunate to have an office provided fully ergonomic chair for many years, that I've had to return recently. By comparison, I will say this chair feels a bit light and plastic-y; there was a solidity and weight to my old office chair that this chair does not have. Likewise, the material does not feel as durable and I expect this chair to last only a few years before it starts to look worn. However, there is something like a 5x price difference between the two, just proving you get what you pay for. Considering the price-point and intended use of this chair, as a hybrid worker (part office, part home based), I would give it a solid 4/5 rating, that may get edited down depending on how it wears over time. It loses a point for the delivery debacle.

Delivered quickly and easily put together - seems much better comfort and value than similar local items.

This chair is a really good chair it just was not high enough for me. I did not return it because it is a nice chair and if i had not had my neck broken at C4 and C5 i could have use it. I need a chair high enough to support my neck when i am using my computer for long hours. I gave it to my grandson for a gaming chair,he was thrilled. So we both won i didn't have to send it back and he is happy. It says high back,but i am 5'11" inches and my head goes over the top of it. I hope this helps someone decide. The design and the quality of this chair is really excellent. I should mention the assembly of this chair is really very easy. It is a quality chair well worth the money in my opinion. The reclining mechanism works very well. The inflatable lumbar support is a nice low budget addition to this chair. If you don't need constant neck support as i do i would recommend this chair. It is an excellent product for the money.
