Great for seniors as it works as a support during walking and can easily be converted to a stool when they are out in public places. Totally worth the money. The quality is amazing as it is very sturdy when you sit on it and the stick support during walking is promising too.

It's an ideal thing for a long walk. The unboxing experience? It was delivered securely in a cardboard carton. It has a nice and adequately big size carrying case. It was wrapped nicely in a plastic sheet/cover. So far, so good. The smartphone holder attachment fell and there was a piece of black plastic that fell off. I was holding the stick (still in the plastic packet) during all this. I picked up the black plastic piece. I'll get back to this point. The stick was folded. Looked compact, just as I would want it to be. I undid the stapled plastic packet containing the smartphone attachment. I checked it for damage. It was fine. The handle was secured to the tripod seat section with a velcro (average quality material), but 'looks' good. A sheathed elastic wiring or some sort of cable inside one of the poles connects the handle. Once fixed it's solid and held my weight (100kgs/220 lbs). Undoing it and re-securing it will take some understanding (gets better with regular/frequent use). It's a good addition to my hiking/backpacking gear. It's weight and form factor will combine excellently with another Amazon product - a collapsible stool. Both are a little too low for my height but not so much as to be a deal breaker. Coming to the 2-star rating. The solid piece which broke off was a part of the circular plastic which holds the tripod seating. It has left the screw exposed (may cause it to rust). I won't return it and will fix it with an appropriate furniture glue. The product seems like a quality product and deserves a 4/4.5-star rating. But this broken piece from an important section just doesn't merit a higher rating. Poor quality control. Amazon products under Rs. 1000 are quite dubious in their quality. I don't understand why a lesser priced product can't have better quality? I'll nonetheless enjoy my latest Amazon product. EDIT: Wow ! The quality is so bad that it lasted me Exactly 30 days. Amazing bad craftsmanship and false advertising at its worst. It was fun while it lasted. I don't think it's intended for seating heavy folks like me. Good thing I didn't field test it. I'm happy to say that I am changing its rating to 1-star. I like the idea. The quality is substandard.
