Not a good value
Having ever eaten black garlic I had nothing to compare to. But I want be buying again. I liked the garlic. But just wasn’t worth the money. Too few in container.

Advertised as organic. Does NOT say organic anywhere on package.
After research, I determined that black garlic is aged regular garlic and NOT a different breed of garlic. I also learned that black garlic is reportedly higher in some antioxidants than fresh, but fresh is higher in allicin -- the heart-healthy and anti-cancer ingredient. Black tastes mild and almost sweet. Fresh has a strong odor and hot, biting taste. I now use both together. The texture of black garlic is like tar or prunes -- difficult to grate, but still possible. The biggest issue is that the advertising for this product says it's organic and the package label doesn't mention organic anywhere or have any organic certification logos. I figure one jar of conventionally grown product won't kill me, but I will not likely order the same product again.
