I bought my first ever electric shaver two years ago and finally the foil needed to be replaced. I was told the foil will eventually fail within 4 months to a year dependent upon usage. I use my shaver everyday for two years and the foil never failed. What I did start to notice was the shaver would not cut comfortably. It actually became painful at times like it was grabbing my skin and sometimes cutting it to where it would bleed. Not knowing that blades had become very dull, I continued to use the shaver. Then one day I noticed it was unusable. So, I began to inspect the foil and noticed for the first time it was actually starting to fail. There was a very tiny void in it that wasn't noticeable unless you looked real close. At that point I ordered a couple of blades with foils. As soon as I installed them that was when I realized I had gone way too long without changing them. The shaver was extremely quiet like it was when I first bought and used it. So, for a person who never had an electric shaver before and I'm in my 60s, I learned my lesson that the foil is not the measure for when the foil and blades need changing. I think I will replace them every 6-9 months or so in order to avoid the painful experience of not knowing when to change them. I've seen or have been told every 4 months of use, but I went two years of daily use with no problems until about a month ago before I noticed something wasn't right. My shavers noise level will be another indicator that it's time for them to be changed. Just thought I'd share this for those who are new to using an electric shaver. Everyone's different, beard type, usage, cleaning or maintenance, etc. I will buy again when needed. They really made a difference!

The product is good. I however had an issue with my order being lost and not delivered on time. It was however replaced, but the shipping again was delayed.Good customer support though! Good value for money!
