awesome water filter! a friend had thus exact portable water filtration system while we were camping last fall in northern Michigan and it was absolutely amazing! now, obviously, depending on where you get the water, it will have that "pond water" taste! thats to be expected considering the water source. but not anywhere near the taste it would have IF not ran through a filter!! I was absolutely shocked by how good this filter worked, and by how good the water actually tasted! very simple to use, portable and doesn't take up much space in a larger backpack, etc. its not a cheap plastic unit either! very sturdy unit that is well built with quality materials and holds up to continuous pumping! I liked it so much that I decided I absolutely had to buy one!! for the price, really regardless of price, the ability to have a portable water filtration system like this is by far worth the money! i bought extra filters just to have! FYI, this doesn't filter viruses or heavy metals! after some research I purchased another filter by katadyn which is a small filter im going to put on the output line of this. that has active carbon you put into the filter, that adds a extra amount of filtration to this already excellent setup! Just kills viruses and removes chemicals like pesticides and others. given ive already had positive experience with this particular model im expecting the same results as my buddies! its a must have item no matter what your doing, camping or "shtf" situations!! well worth the money ppl!! yes, there are much MUCH more expensive portable water filtration systems out their, but this is a serious competitor for any occasion or situation!!

It serves its purpose and doesn't fall apart. It also comes with a nice briefcase style bag to store it in which I put to use. Along with the water purifier, I placed a couple life straws, one replacement filter, and a bottle of water purifying tablets. I could grab this lightweight set-up any time and add it to any hiking bag, bug-out bag, ect.

This thing works really well. My only complaint so far is how the packaging of the hose is done. It should not be folded to cause kinks in the hose , it should be rolled so not to have bends in it. But the product functions well. So far I've done 8 gallons of water. More to go since it has rained.

It works well - nice higher pump capacity than others with a < 1um filter - good for a small group. Videos are helpful when setting it up. Customer service was good < 1 hour response time to questions via email. Easy to pull the filters from housing and rinse. Long term Storage recommendation is to dry out the filters for 2-3 days then put in storage, i prefer this to pumping a dilute bleach solution into filters prior to storing.

This is the right filter to drink clean water from lakes, rivers and camels. Took it on a fishing trip last week and like away someone forgot to bring water to consume. But not a problem, use it the very first day, I tell you it really does clean the water. Will need to order replacement water filters, for when they get use for a while. But no problem cleaning the filters. They do dry up in one full day and can be reused once more. Thanks

I purchased to use at elk camp with several hunters and long stays. Works great can get large amount of water in short time. Lite weight easy to pack. Easy to clean.

Good product

Very well made ,and so easy to use! Has a powerful pump ,which lifts water to an above average header height, with a larger than normal volume of water, compared to other filter pumps I have used ! Would recommend 👌
