Philips Norelco Shaver 1100, with Comfort Cut Blades & 4D Flex Heads (Corded Use Only), S1016/90

For anyone who has bought an electric shaver and after a year or two it now dies in 5 minutes (Braun 7 series 👀) and instead wants a corded one you have come to the right place. This shaver being pretty much the only corded option out there, I can say having used it, it works great after a year or two replace the blades as on all shavers. Important note it comes with a US power (two blades) so you will need to buy an adapter. Search the following: 2 PIN EU Philips HQ8505 AC/DC Adaptor Charger for Philips you can see both in my photo. Other than that I can’t recommend this highly enough for anyone who wants a shaver that is corded and therefore never dies!

Excellent shaver, service great seller kept me up to date throughout, you have to buy a USA to UK adapter for it to work but well worth it

The cable keeps falling out while in use. The on/ off button is badly placed and can easily be turned off by accident while using it. Very poor design.

This shaver comes with a power lead that the mains power end is unusable because of the large plat type of plug that is fitted. To use it needs 3 adapters in order to plug into my standard shaver socket. It's either cut the plug off (which will undoubtedly result in the warranty becoming invalid, or use an old lead from an old shaver. If this item is sold in the UK (where I live and where it was posted to) it should have a UK compatible plug. This is the third time I have written this email with similar comments. If works perfectly well, I see some reviews saying its not any good but I've not experienced any problems. It gives a close shave in little time. Some people say the 2 pin plug isn't any good because it doesn't fit UK plug sockets, but all you need it's a shaver adaptor, as most shavers require this. All in all I'm satisfied with my purchase.

What can I say ,bought it for the brother-in-law, he has a tough beard bought him a battery one but it could not hack it , so I looked at it like i did with my lawn mower a electric one has .ore power than a battery one so got him one that run off the mains and it's doing the job and brother-in-law is happy

Prise non conforme

Norelco has been in the rotary shaver business for a long time and their quality has never been in question. I was looking for a "corded" model because rechargeable devices always seem to have issues. When I shave, I am never far awat from an outlet and being corded, all of the battery issues go out the door. Basic and reliable, that's the ticket. The shave is not as close as a blade, but it is very close. It has reliable power and should hold up over time.

Phillips es una exelente marca de rasuradoras, durable y cumple con su funsión. Es de cable y va conectada a la corriente para su funcionamiento (no tiene para recorte de patillas). Su potencia es normal pero muy durable y se rasura uno bien y gran producto sobre otras marcas. va en gustos si requiere una rasuradora recargable o con cable con conección a toma de corriente lo que actualmente casi ya no hay de este tipo de rasuradoras porque casi todas son recargables y Phillips tiene esas dos opciones. En lo personal lo recomiendo mucho
