Glerc 20 24 26 Inch 6-Speed Girls Bike for Over 6 Years Old Kids

This bike ended up being better than anticipated. The reviews varied, so I was hesitant to purchase initially, but I'm happy that I picked it up. The assembly was super easy, the instructions are clear and easy to follow and even though I used my own tools, it comes with a nice selection for anyone that may need them for building the bike or future maintenance. Some silicone grease can help with assembly and function but it's not included. Otherwise, once complete you'll only need to adjust the seat and handlebar height as well as the lever positions to the rider. Air up the tires and you're ready to ride. Probably the most difficult part will be adjusting the front brake (maybe the rear too if yours is not adjusted properly) simply because linear pull brakes can be a little finicky, but even-so, we're talking another couple minutes. After a couple rides I'd grab your tools and verify everything is still tight and adjusted properly just like you'd do with any other bike, pre-assembled or not. The color (white) was applied well, no scratches, dings or bubbles. All parts are durable and worth the price of the bike. The multiple speed shift selector had me a little concerned that it would take a bit of time for my kiddo to get used to, along with now using hand brakes, but they picked it up right away. I'm told the seat is very comfortable as-is the rider position. We opted for the rear rack as well, which comes in handy all the time. I'd say this bike is well worth the price and if taken care of, should last for a long time. Should anything change, I will update this review.

I was very pleasantly surprised, this is so, so much better than a department store bike. We got the 24 inch for my neighbor's little girl since she had outgrown her garbage walmart bike and her mom couldn't afford a new bike. I did a lot of research, I wanted something she liked, but also had gears so she could climb the hills around our neighborhood, and was made decently so I could actually maintain the thing for the 2-4 years until she outgrows it. Out of the box, it needed really nothing. Setup was a breeze, the derailleur shifted great right out of the box with no tuning needed, the wheels were true, the headset smooth and not loose, brakes felt good enough, no stripped anything, and it's just the right size for an 11 year old girl, she has a fair amount of room to grow with it. Still, if you're not familiar with tuning up a bicycle, just take it to a bike shop and pay them to set it up. Your kid will appreciate it. This bike is worth the investment, it's so much better than cheap walmart trash. And for god's sakes, get your kid a REAL, GOOD HELMET that they like the style of. Your kid's head is worth $50-100. Pick out a few different helmets with MIPS protection and let them pick the one they like. The style that goes with this bike is going to be by the brand "thousand" and their helmets are very high quality, and a kid about the size of the 24 inch bike will easily fit a small size.

We purchased this bike for a donation to the YMCA Christmas gifts for underprivileged children. This bike was fairly easy to assemble. The gears seemed to be calibrated right out of the box. The bike was sturdy, and without a single blemish. Everyone that came through the "Y" and saw the bike thought it was cute and of high quality. My wife wants me to buy her the 26 inch in blue green.

Super cute bike and rides smoothly. Not too difficult to put together. I would give it 5 starts but occassionally the chain comes off and has to be fixed. Also, there is an exposed wire that comes from the brakes, it would be nice if it was covered. But overall it has been a great bike.

The Glert 24 inch Beach Cruiser Bike, 6-speed Hybrid has it all. My granddaughter loves everything about this bike she loves that it comes in many colors, has a large basket so that she can carry everything she needs for that day’s adventures. The price is exceptional !!! And you get 6 speeds. The frame is solid, very strong so this bike will last her for days to come. She is 7 years old now and the 24 inch bike is perfect for her and will grow with her for many years. The tires are top quality, nice treads and a strong wheel base. The seat is wonderful and very comfortable nice and wide for full support. The kickstand is an added bonus for us as we have noticed a lot of the bikes out there are not including them. If you want a good bike at a great price this is the bike for you.

I bought the purple, 24" with rack for my daughter. It looked small as I assembled it, so I measured the tires, and their diameter is 23" - so it is falsely advertised. (I hope this doesn't mean that if a rubber tire gets damaged, it will be difficult to find a replacement - odd sizes are problematic in that way.) It is actually a very cute bike, and arrived without damage. One washer for the rear rack was missing, but that was the only hitch in assembly. The packaging was nicely done. I'm feeling nervous about the quality. The chain was off when we took it out to test it, after we fixed that, my daughter was riding it up and down the sidewalk and it made shifting sounds even though she told me that she wasn't turning the gear shift dial. So I tried it myself, and the chain was definitely jumping gears on its own even though I was not shifting. Considering how expensive it was, I'm feeling reluctant to recommend it. There was an awful lot of packing material on it (probably why it arrived looking in excellent shape) and it would be extremely difficult to re-pack to return. There is a bike shop in town, and taking it there to see if they can fix the shift problems is an option, but I feel reluctant to invest more money it it too. For the price, it shouldn't be jumping gears and losing the chain.

Very happy with this purchase, bike is made of high quality parts . Every inch of this bike is painted very well . We got the basket on front for storage . Also able to store stuff on back of bike . Easy to assemble. Daughter was over the moon .
