It’s a great product. People are having user error. I haven’t had any issues with the LED lights however you cannot adjust them. They are doing what they do and they are very bright. Sometimes I even have to cover them up at night or just unplugged the hub the animation only happens when it’s uploading or downloading data, other than that, it breathes different colors at a slow rate. The size of the product is about the palm of your hand. The material is aluminum, obviously right make sure you put that thermal pad near the top of your SSD where it’s plugged in so it can make good connection at the beginning otherwise you’ll have overheating issues and the speed is just as if it was installed basically

Most M.2 enclosurs are longer than this one. Still allows a 2280 M.2 (most common size), but fits in a smaller footprint. The vibrant aRGB lights are a nice touch. Speeds are more a function of your motherboard and cables than the device. Says up to 10Gps - I max out at about 700 mb/sec with a USB-C cable rated for 10 GB speed. Is a wonderful device.

This item is very bright but awesome. The case is pretty well made and they do provide about 2 heat sink glue straps to add to the ssd which immensely cools it

It came with thermal pads that in no way fit on the ssd when you install it.

This a great portable NVMe enclosure. I particularly like the ‘light show’ that takes place cycling through various colors while plugged in. The enclosure is machined Aluminum aiding in keeping the card cool.

Works just fine as advertized. Hooked up a Sammy 990 and transfers were over 550gbps. I had a Sarbent enclusure before which sputtered. tool 15 minutes to transfer 1 gb. This guy does it in seconds...

First of all, if you have an NVMe SSD drive, the BEST place for it is a direct connection on a motherboard. You'll get all the speed and advantages of the drive. That said, this little case will work - as long as you're using the correct size drive (up to 2280). There is no cooling fan, so the cooling is done via the included cooling strip and the outer aluminum case. Many of the 2280 size drives use a screw to hold down the end away from the connector. This simply uses a clip. It works, but if you're going to swap drives and use this case for temporary use, you might wind up breaking it. This case would be best for a drive that would be permanently sitting in it, connected to a fast USB-3 or USB-C connection (cables for both are included) and let it sit on the side or on the computer as an external drive. It will get warm during long data transfers and you can experience data transfer slowdowns if it starts getting too hot. But for quick saving or simple backups, this is a good little case. The LED lights are just for show, if you're into those things. The lights play little patterns while there's activity, then they go solid when there isn't. The lights are on both sides and are just novelties to the enclosure. I'm giving it 5 stars because it comes with everything advertised and it does work. Just remember, you're not going to get the super fast speeds as you would with a drive being directly connected to a motherboard. Your transfer speeds will be determined by your USB connection and if you're doing big transfers and the SSD starts getting too hot. It couldn't hurt to add a little extra thermal paste or other conducting material to the included strip (not a lot) to get a more solid thermal connection to the aluminum case.

Better then expected, lights react to read/write. Stays fairly cool.

usbハブが付属しておりコンパクトで使いやすい製品です。NVMe SSDを装着するのが簡単なので、気軽にセットしてすぐに使用可能です。 ssdは放熱シールを介してケースに触れさせることができないタイプなので、長時間酷使するような使い方には向きません。例えば動画編集の一時ストレージやゲームのインストール先とかには向きません。 自分の使い方ではテキストデータを読み込む程度なので、サーマルスロットリングはほとんど気になりませんでした。ただ、外装で放熱するタイプはネジ回しが必須になるので手軽さはなくなりますので、そこはトレードオフだと感じました。 ハブとしてもストレージとしても活用できる便利なハブです。

基本的なスペックはよくあるNvMe外付けケースです。 横幅が広いと画像では見えますが、両サイドに裏面？に実装する物をまとめてよけてるだけなので、実際はそこまで薄いわけでは無いです。 冷却は放熱シートだけで、ケースに直接接触しているわけでは無いので、そこまで放熱性は高くないです。 ですが、大多数のケースが同じような構造なので致し方ないかなとは思います。 SSDの固定は2280は爪で、他のサイズは回転式のクリップでとなります。 クリップは何度も使ってくるうちに折れたりしてしましますが、予備が入ってる場合があります。 残念ながらAmazonではこれだけを売ってるのを見てない（買う人も少ないから？）ので、予備がなくなった段階で買い替えになりますが、爪だと折れたらそれっきりになります。 強度的にはどうなのかは不明ですが、頻繁に外すものじゃないので折れないという話であれば爪の方が良いという事になりますが、さて・・。 爪にしたことで回転式クリップより寸法を小さくできるからという考え課はわかりませんが、全体的に余裕のないスペースなのでこの点もどうかな？という気はします。 これといったデメリットではないので、それで評価を下げてはいません。 LEDのカラー点灯ですが・・・・好きな人は良いのでは？という事で・・・★４といたしました。

ノーパソで使ってたM.2 SSD 外付けケースが壊れたので、 交換しました。 使用感は以前と一緒なので不満はありませんが、 LEDは要らないですね。 速度も問題なさそうなので良かったです。
