Giving this 5 stars because there’s nothing else like it on the market yet and I’m thankful they made these. My oldest child refuses to take liquid medication and will sometimes puke if we make him drink it, so I was glad to find these. Although he still hates this, it’s better than the alternative. His little brother on the other hand loves these (though he loves all medicine). I also tried these myself to understand the taste; the beginning is fine - they taste like sugary gummies - but yes, the end and the aftertaste do taste like traditional cough syrup. So if your kid hates medicine, maybe have them chew it for a few seconds then drink it down with something yummy. Also, my kids are younger than the age listed, but we asked a pharmacist and they told us to just give a smaller dose. I typically cut one gummy in half, but I’m just sharing what we do. Obviously ask a professional if you have questions.

Great as kids won't take liquid cough syrup. Love that they are chewable and effective as the liquid stuff.

My kids enjoy these. They like the orange flavor and I usually use them when they have a dry cough or lingering cough from a cold for when they have to go to school. I usually give them one for in the morning when they head to school that way they’re not coughing in class and being uncomfortable or disruptive. It usually lasts throughout the school day(about 8hrs)

The medicine works but I don’t like the taste. It’s bitter.

If you have a kid that is picky with medicine this isn’t a great option despite its “gummy” form. It’s disgusting. Most kids probably will not tolerate. Don’t recommend.The dissolvable powder or liquids are going to be a better option than this atrocity.
