Does what it says on the packet, but thereafter everything has like a cool burn to it when going down your throat, even drinking a glass of room temperature water has a cool burning sensation. After the lozenge is finished, tickly throat symptoms will resurface within 5 to 10 minutes, so best to take sips of room temperature water until dosage limits allow you to have another, goes without saying, I wouldn't recommend chewing a lozenge down quickly, let it rest and melt in your mouth slowly to relieve your soar throat symptoms for longer! Caution is advised if you have diabetes, phenylketonuria (PKU), or any other condition that requires you to limit/avoid sugary substances in your diet. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about using this product safely. Each lozenge has 4 grams of carbohydrates too.
