Definitely help keep sweat from showing through
I use these with dress shirts as I sweat a lot and it's quite noticeable. For me, these are winners because they definitely help to reduce the amount that it shows through on dress shirts without being too bulky or uncomfortable.

theses literally stuck to the lining of my blazer and ruined it. Cannot get the pad glue off of the lining

Absorbent
They are very easy to use, comfortable, lightweight, absorbent, and disposable. They don’t fit all shirts, as most of mine are loose fitting, so not very effective unless wearing a form fitting top.
