SwissStop 34624VAR - Kit 2 portazapatas flash brake pro carbon rim

These are brilliant, made a noticeable improvement to brake power and control vs stock Brompton brake pads, and fit fine as a drop in replacement. I probably could have just fitted the pads into the existing carriers though. No idea about durability yet but the pads are also available separately and much cheaper than the whole unit.

If you search Boomerboy SwissStop on you tube you will see my full unboxing and fitting review. These are expensive blocks, over £50 to do front and rear. However, the stopping power is excellent in the dry and wet. I bought directly from Amazon and the product arrived quickly and as described. I would recommend and buy again (just need refills next time that are cheaper as you reuse the holder) as these are one of the best blocks available on the market, top performance, smooth with no judder or squeal, yet kind to aluminium rims (blue BXP). A sub £20 price point would be nice, but refills are cheaper after the initial outlay, still good value for powerful braking, especially in the wet!

Superb stopping power especially in wet weather. Kind to your rims. These are probably the best pads you can get. They last well too so if you ride lots (I prob do 2000 m+ a year) they're good value really.

Not for carbon rims! Bought these for my zipp 303 wheels, and immediately noticed a high pitched sound. Checked the packaging, and it says for all aluminium wheels. Wasted money on these pads.

These are moderately better than the old brake pads I was using. but the difference is not that noticeable. You can save some money by just buying the pads alone and fitting them in your existing brake shoes (you don't need swiss stop brake shoes to hold swiss stop pads as they are a standard size).

Not cheap, but powerful and smooth pads with the knowledge that these pads are being kind to your rim. Previous standard issue kit pads were ineffective and created a lot of 'dust' that getsinto nooks and crannies

improved stopping power and run cleaning will buy again.
