Iris Aqua: The Stolen River Hardcover – May 29, 2024

I just finished reading The Stolen River, the first book in the Iris Aqua series. I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure Bella embarks on in Kasia Novak's debut novel.As I read, I was reminded of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, National Treasure, and a teen movie I can't quite place.The action sequences are vividly described, making it easy to visualize the magic of the Faewood!No spoilers here—you'll need to read it yourself—but I'm excited to delve deeper into the lore of the Fae and the Shadow Demons in the next installment of the series.I highly recommend this book, especially if you enjoy high fantasy.

I absolutely plan to stick with this series as I enjoyed the world building, loved the Ireland setting, and was intrigued by all of the secondary characters.
