Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner, Brightening and Smoothing Daily Toner for More Even-Looking Skin Tone

Believe the hype! It's true! I read about this on BuzzFeed. Then I read through the copious reviews singing this products praises. I have used & continue to use many Ordinary products (hyaluronic acid & niacinamide) and have found that they do a commendable job for the price. So marrying the fantastic reviews with the great brand meant that trying this glycolic acid was a no-brainer. The bottle is substantially larger than the other Ordinary products. The top can be adjusted to dispense the perfect amount of product. The directions say to use a cotton ball or clean hands. I opted for my hands to reduce waste in both product and cotton balls. While the product didn't affect my hands, I can say that I felt a mild tingling on my freshly cleansed face. I felt that there was definitely some positive impact happening! I followed with my favorite retinol, snail serum, and then a PM moisturizer. I repeated this routine for about 3 days when my neighbor remarked how fresh and dewy my skin appeared. Why, thank you! So of course I ran inside after our convo to see what she was seeing...DAAAANG! Now for true and genuine reference, I'm not trying to reverse aging. I might be trying to slow the process but I'm not a cosmetic procedure gal - NOT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG with that!! NO judgement on my part. I have crazy skin after my child was born; cystic acne, melasma, fresh wrinkles and laugh lines. Thee literal and figurative trifecta of facial derm issues 🫩😮‍💨 It is what it is. I should probably see a dermatologist for a retinol Rx but...time and money...I should also be drinking FAR more water. I do use a daily mineral SPF and wear hats when I know I'll have prolonged sun exposure. So when husband remarked (that same day, no less) about how my skin was glowing, I knew that it HAD to be the direct result of this amazing, effective product! It was the only thing I changed! My DEEP forehead wrinkles aren't gone. Steamrolling wouldn't take those bad boys out...but they are definitely softened. And my splotchy melasma? Reduced substantially! The LaRoche Posay Mela B3 didn't reduce the spots like this glycolic acid did (though, in retrospect, this may have helped the absorption of the B3? 🤔) Regardless, I think that this product is a worthwhile try for healthy, glowing skin. ❗️EWG rated this a 3/10 (lower numbers are favorable) on their website, btw! AND, from what I've read, it is safe to use during pregnancy so you know it's a legit product that is safe and effective🫶

I was completely out of the loop on how popular The Ordinary products had become until my 20-something daughter clued me in. And well… we don’t keep good beauty secrets around here, so I have to share this one. First surprise: the bottle is huge. Easily two to three times larger than a lot of the other The Ordinary products I’ve seen, which makes the price feel even better. Now for the important part: I have extremely sensitive skin, so glycolic acid made me a little nervous. Somehow, I’ve had no burning or tingling at all. I use it on my face about 2–3 times a week, then bring it down my neck and décolletage — yes, that fancy area we’re all apparently supposed to remember exists. 😂 My skin has been looking smoother, brighter and just more polished. But here’s where this bottle gets fun. I started using it under my arms, and I cannot believe I’m saying this, but it has noticeably helped with body odor. As someone who prefers aluminum-free deodorant, that is a HUGE bonus. My underarms also seem smoother and clearer looking. Then I saw someone mention using glycolic acid on their feet and thought, well… why not? So now my feet are getting in on the action too — and they are ridiculously soft. So somehow one bottle has become part facial toner, part neck-and-chest treatment, part underarm helper and part foot softener. I don’t pretend to understand every bit of the science behind all of those uses, but I absolutely understand the results. Huge bottle. Great price. Sensitive-skin friendly for me. Multiple uses I never expected. Magic in a bottle? I’m calling it. Five stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is great for my skin, I actually don’t use a face lotion anymore, I only use glycolic acid and my skin has no blemishes. I’ve been solely using this for my face for 3 months. It’s also pregnancy safe for that’s a huge plus! I really recommend it, it’s great for the price, one bottle lasts me about 2 months. It’s great for clearing up any stubborn bumps and spots/ discoloration.

i bought it because i have crazy strawberry skin and tbh, i see a positive difference on my skin. my skin looks more smoother and has way less hypopigmentation than before. i used it for a month on and off, but the results are nice. my strawberry skin didn’t completely go away but it’s faded to where it looks nicer when i wear shorts. it helped my arms more than my legs tbh. also ps. don’t put this on after shaving… lol. it burns.

I have had eczema/ contact dermatitis on my body and really bad for the past two years on the back of my ankle , it hurt and was so itchy every single day it was inflamed. I have used this for exactly five days and I can’t believe it has almost totally gone away. I’m shocked. I read reviews saying how good this was for healing skin but I’m beyond amazed. No more red and inflamed itchy skin. Not to mention my face looks great. I’ve always had problems with blemishes on my chin and they are almost gone. This is a great product. I also never give reviews but considering how great this is and how amazing it works I had to tell about it!

The bottle is also much bigger than I expected, so it’s definitely worth the price. Just start slowly if you’re new to glycolic acid and don’t forget sunscreen. I’d definitely buy this again!

Amazing product my dark spots are gone and my skin feels good

Il prodotto è valido, ma va usato seguendo le indicazioni, altrimenti può causare irritazione. Lo uso due volte a settimana, di sera. Lo applico con un dischetto di cotone su viso e collo, dopo aver deterso bene la pelle da trucco e impurità. Appena applicato tira un po' (se avete la pelle molto secca in partenza, dovreste valutare di usare un idratante dopo 20-30 Min). Dopo varie applicazioni l'incarnato risulta più luminoso e uniforme e le macchie sono più chiare, grazie alla delicata esfoliazione. È importantissimo usare una crema con filtro solare alto nei giorni successivi all'applicazione. Detto questo, mi sento di consigliarlo.

J'utilise ce tonique à l'acide glycolique 7 % depuis un moment maintenant et, honnêtement, je ne pourrais plus m'en passer. Au départ, j'étais un peu sceptique, surtout vu son prix très accessible comparé à d'autres marques, mais les résultats sont bien là. Ce qui est vraiment appréciable, c'est son efficacité simple et directe. Je l'applique sur mes jambes avant d'utiliser une crème à base d'urée, et c'est devenu mon combo gagnant. J'avais souvent ce problème de "peau de fraise" qui me complexait un peu, et grâce à cette routine, mon grain de peau est devenu beaucoup plus lisse et uniforme. Il exfolie en douceur sans jamais agresser l'épiderme. C’est également un excellent produit pour atténuer les taches pigmentaires. Grâce à sa concentration de 7 % en acide glycolique, il aide vraiment à unifier le teint sur la durée et à éclaircir les zones marquées. J'ai constaté une vraie différence sur les petites irrégularités de pigmentation que j'avais. Il faut simplement être régulier pour voir une vraie différence, ce n'est pas magique dès la première application. Mais pour le rapport qualité-prix et l'effet lissant sur les jambes, c'est devenu un indispensable dans ma salle de bain. Si vous cherchez un produit qui affine le grain de peau sans fioritures, celui-ci remplit parfaitement son rôle.
