I always enjoy trying new creative art techniques, so I was delighted to be offered a bottle of this oil to test. Paint pouring and marbling is something I've wanted to try for myself for a very long time, ever since seeing the beautiful marbled cover pages in some of my parents old books.You are purchasing a large 200ml bottle of pure silicone oil, and at the price of around ten pounds I have to say that it's very good value. As you see in the video, only a few drops are needed, added to the thick acrylic paint of your choice. Poured over a board or canvas, it can then be manipulated either by dragging, or by angling the surface to let gravity create interesting shapes. Effects can be created by blowing the surface with a straw or heat gun, too.I really enjoy experimenting with the process, and with just a few drops of oil needed per 100ml of paint this bottle is enough to create endless pictures. My efforts have been abstract, and influenced by nature, or emotion. I'm particularly interested in recreating the effect of cascading sea foam, and this is a very fluid and dynamic process to begin with, so it lends itself well to the subject.It takes very little time to create a stunning looking image, and together with some acrylic paint this would make a lovely gift for anyone keen on art. It would also be an ideal gift for children, whose lives seem sadly to be far less filled with art and creativity now that computer games have taken over our lives.

As an beginner acrylic paint pouring artist, I am always on the lookout for products that can beautifies my artwork. This silicone pouring oil is truly amazing and odourless, it is an exceptional cell activator, producing dramatic cell patterns that add depth to my pours. The cells are vibrant, enhancing the visual appeal of the whole art. I would never imagine what it could happen with just a few drops. I like creating tapping versions or dirty messy mixtures rather than pouring and I managed to make a few cells already. I hope to achieve greater results with more practice in future. All I can say is that this oil is 100% silicone, it integrates well with acrylic paints, so I can move on to the watercolours next. Oil retains its original vibrancy and texture when it comes out underneath the colours.

I've recently got into crafting and I'm new to this, so was interested to try it out.To help I first watched a few videos and they had a go myself. The bottles comes sealed and has a dropper cap which is great as a little goes a long way. The liquid is odourless and so far I'm really happy with the results. I recommend watching some videos first if you are new to this. This is a lot of fun and this bottle will last me a long time.

I’m completely new to using silicone oil for creating cells in acrylic so there was a lot of looking for info and inspiration before trying it out but I’m so impressed with the results I’ve been able to achieve, it really is easy to use.The bottle came foil sealed with a dropper cap which is useful for adding the very small amounts you need, there were also three plastic pipettes and an information leaflet but I didn’t find this particularly helpful.The oil is quite viscose, clear and odourless, as you use so little of this oil this bottle is going to last me a long time. Very impressed with the results and would recommend anyone to have a go, it’s lots of fun and you can get some beautiful results.
