I love this water bottle! I’ve used it to purify hotel water and creek water, and it taste fine every time on top of being purified and filtered. Kids will even drink it too. I went with the smaller one so I didn’t have a huge metal bottle to carry love that it has a handle in the filter is easy to replace!

Light weight - quality product

Got this on sale for maybe $50 over the basic model - used to travel overseas and didn't buy one bottled water! Probably saved me the value of the unit. It's a great design, simple, somewhat hard to push though for smaller bodied persons, and doesn't hold a lot of water, so bring an extra bottle if you need a fuller cache. Worked great in creaks, rivers, and the worst water - some of the public water sources. I always filtered just to be safe. Water wss chlorine free, we stayed healthy. Helps if you dry the filter from time to time - cleaning and care is simple. It was so valuable I lost it and ran back 2 miles in the Alps up a major back climb to rescue it. One thing I notice is the seals seem to be a little weaker after 2 weeks use - some dripping, careful not to force fully in or not in far enough..

Love it, works great but to expensive and needs some kind of retainer to keep from loosing the small cap on top.

I have now used this for well over six weeks of assorted travel and love it. Sturdy and easy to use if you follow the directions. I am a large man but with cleanish looking water and a fairly new still filter I didn’t find much resistance pressing the inner into the outer. Important part is remember to vent the cap so air can escape from inner as it fills up with water.. I love that I can now not buy bottled water traveling now, and it can go out for day trips allowing sketchy bathroom or public water refills if needed, It also doubles as potential survival pot/cup if ever needed, YSA has yet to give it a second look and it’s been hella sturdy after a lot of rough trips.

Buy this. It's a QUICK solution to purfied, not just filtered, water. Purified. The titanium cup allows you to boil water. The replacement water filter cartridges (orange colored) last for 350 water purifications. The titanium allows the water temperature to cool fast, if used as a boiling pot. Sure, wait for a sale. I got mine for $130 on a Lightning Deal in 2025 where the list price was $200. Highly recommend.
