There is a fixed bezel trim with the cardinal compass directions with meters in a circular format. I do like the super large digital display although the display cover feels like transparent plastic versus mineral glass of high-priced watches industry-wide. The backlight function is found on the upper left-hand side set of 4 function buttons. I guess this is common in Asian countries whereas here in the States it's on the right upper-sided function button instead. Nonetheless, the backlight function illuminates the large display digits versus the back panel instead. The ergonomic shape with its military green-inspired design garners a greater thickness to the watchband for the overall longevity of its use. Big Display, Great Features, and Easy Maintenance
This LCD watch has a large, easy-to-read display, perfect for viewing from a distance or for those with older eyes. The dot matrix display for the day and watch mode is impressive for the price. It includes all the essential features: a timer, stopwatch with multiple lap time functionality, a second time zone, and an alarm. It’s simple to use without any unnecessary extras. The watch is waterproof and very durable. A nice feature is the ability to change the battery yourself using a coin or screwdriver. It uses a common lithium ion cell available at most pharmacies or hardware stores. The watch offers practicality and durability at a good price. One negative is that the display is oddly calibrated. It actually looks best (both normally and when lighted) off-axis, which takes a bit of getting used to. Were it not for this minor flaw, it would easily be a 5-star watch.

Big, thick and simple!
Good value if you're looking for an everyday easy-to-read utility watch, and not planning to take a deep dive (in the ocean!) with it. The green band gives it a "military" touch. The watch isn't much to brag about, but there's some thought put into the band: the bezel, the lugs and the bands are almost seamlessly "fused" and integrated together; the "tongue (pin)" is a broad pin matched with big adjustment holes on the band. There are 2 "keepers (loops)" on it and the ample band length will fit many a wrist!
