Perfect fit on a 2005 Mini Cooper S...
Alright, I'm not sure if this is an exact OEM part, but, it works flawlessly. Installation only took about 15 minutes and the fit spot on. Even the plugs are exact... Thought this would be a better option than the universal O2 sensor because I have heard that Mini's are "picky" about the parts you use on them. Will update this review in the future if I feel something needs to be updated.

Good for an R53 post-cat replacement
I was a bit worried after reading other reviews about using Bosch oxygen sensors with Minis (very surprising considering the high regard I hold for Bosch and their OEM-status for a lot of BMW/MINI parts), but ultimately I went for it to save a few bucks feeling pretty safe because I was just replacing the rear, post-cat sensor, the simpler of the two and apparently, the far less picky one.If I had to replace the pre-cat sensor, from what I've read I don't think I would have bothered with this one just to be safe. A few bucks is a good safe measure for having to replace an O2 sensor a second time (even if you got a refund from Amazon).Anyway, my 2002 Cooper S had been throwing a CEL (sorry don't remember which code) for the rear sensor and I threw this bad boy in* and haven't had that CEL or code for several months now. I consider that a success.*boy do I make it sound easy... The sensor's in a very tight spot but it's workable. More importantly, get it jacked up as high as you can because you may need every INCH of additional leverage from a breaker bar and pipe(s).

Only lasted 1 year (update)
Well I bought this of June 2015 (it is now July 2016) . When I got it fixed it worked great. No issues. It plugged up perfectly and fit just like it should. Continued to work great for a year ( about 10k miles) , now the engine code is back and the car is sputtering again. Luckily the warranty went out like 20 days ago. I am going to try to NGK now. It seems to have better results. I'm thinking I should have spent the extra (what like $15) to begin with. Stupid on my part I guess.EDIT:Ok, so I ordered the NGK, and when I went to replace the O2 sensor, I noticed there was a tear in the wire insulation. It looks like it had come loose somehow from the brackets. I am bumping my rating from 2 stars to 3 because I really don't know what happened to it, but I would like for the wire to be more durable either way.

Worked for rear sensor.
Installed in 2006 R52 Mini. I got this to replace a rear O2 sensor that was setting off dash lights. For the rear sensor, this worked great. It's been in the car about three weeks. After install, I reset the error codes and the service engine soon light has remained off.

Failed Quickly
Bought in June of 2017. With in a month of purchase it failed, and started throwing a broken heater CEL.Save the money and buy the $27 oxygen sensor on here. Works so much better, at such a fraction of the cost.

Bosch Oxygen Sensor Mini Cooper S
The quality of the product is much better than the OEM. The price was right and needed two for my new Magnaflow exhaust for my Mini Cooper S. The vehicle runs better and has positively effected my fuel mileage.

Fine to replace main-cat O2 sensor ONLY - DO NOT USE FOR PRE-CAT
I have a 2003 MINI Cooper S:Having originally replaced both O2 sensors with what I though was the OEM replacement - (Bosch) - I was still getting a repetitive CEL. The issue is that in the Pre-cat O2 position, the MINI has very specific tolerances for the O2 sensor installed or it will throw a code. You will need a 22mm wrench and the NTK/NGK 25648 sensor in the pre-cat position. The Bosch 13878 O2 sensor is less expensive and works fine in the main-cat position. If you are thinking about replacing the pre-cat O2 sensor, DO NOT install the Bosch or you will have the same code and poor gas mileage. The best (cheapest and most effective) way to replace both O2 sensors and not have codes is to replace the main car O2 sensor with the Bosch 13878 Oxygen Sensor and the pre-cat O2 sensor with the NTK/NGK 25648 Oxygen Sensor, considering that the NTK sensor is more expensive than the Bosch at the time of this review.

OEM product at excellent price
Great price for OEM product. Replaced old ones and instant gas mileage improvement along with smooth idle. The threads come with anti seize compound applied to them as well.

Go with Bosch. Less expensive than dealer.
Worked perfectly on my 06 Mini Cooper. Tried cheaper Chinese O2 sensors and they failed after a month. Should have trusted the Germans! Thank you Bosch.
