The bulb had to burn cool as well
I needed the brightest bulb that I could fit into an (enclosed of course) airport taxiway light that I rebuilt with a G9 socket. The bulb had to burn cool as well. This bulb is far brighter than a warm 60W equivalent I bought from another vendor. The blue globe casts a perfect glow over my porch. Effective product and the globe is never very warm.

Don't buy these unless you want to replace them faster than halogens
These bulbs have good output both in light output and color. But, they have an extremely short life, much less than the Halogens I replaced. Mine lasted at most 400 hours and that's being generous. They are rated for 30,000 hours ... what a joke. I'd give this product zero stars if I could.

Bulb does not work
This product is defective. With normal use, the LED emitters started to fail and with 3 months, the bulbs look were completed out making the bulb worthless. I would not recommend you buy this product.
