We buy lots of coffee, theres so much about and more often that not its rubbish. Just got a bag of this and I have to say its a lovely coffee. Beans were quite light in colour but smelled lovely in the bag. A nice touch is that there is a plastic wire pipe cleaner type thing (if you know what I mean lol) that enables you to keep the opening of the bag closed when youve put some beans in the hopper and so keeping the beans fresh. This is my first impression of my first cup as ive yet to dial in the machine to get it how I want it. Ive got it set on number 3 grind coarseness and medium strength coffee delivery and straight away its producing a really nice cup. The espresso gave a nice crema and there was actual body to the smell and didnt smell watered down at all. There were spicy notes coming from the cup and that hint of rubber and nuts. Adding the foamed milk and tasting the coffee had real body and left a lovely strong coffee taste at the back of the throat with out that extreme bitterness. It seems a real quality ocffee from initial impressions thats only going to get better as I get my machine dialled in. At this price youd be mad not to try it. I will say I was dubious about buying it for £12 a kilo and thought t wouldnt be up to much but was very pleasantly surprised. Needless to say ill be purchasing more as we go through about 2kg a month, I cant see it staying at this price for long though.

Really Impressed with these coffee beans. As soon as you open the pack you can smell the fresh, fragrant aroma. And it gets even better when they are ground! We make our coffee in percolator coffee pot and when steaming the coffee the whole place is filled with amazing smell of coffee. The beans are quite oily and leave some oily residue in a coffee pot, but we don't mind, rather makes you think that the quality of bean is very high, because you don't usually see that in cheaper beans. It makes a really great espresso, smooth but strong flavour little bitter not too acidic. And it works great for flat white too, without loosing the flavour and strength. Really impressed with Presto Espresso Roast! The price seems a bit to expensive side but it is so worth it considering that for two of us drinking cup or two daily it lasted a month. We wanted to check other brands before settling to one and ordered 100% Arabica Master Blend from Coffee Masters, but so regret not sticking to Presto as it doesn't even stand close. Now we can't wait to grind through the kilo of their stuff to get back to ordering Presto and trying some of their other blends. Hope this helps you to make a choice of which beans to buy.

I'd normally purchase the freshest beans I can get my hands on, usually from my local coffee shop, however, having a newborn baby has meant its been difficult to get to the shop and I bought these as its next day delivery and the reviews were positive. I can't fault them, flavour profile is as described, chocolate notes with little acidity. A kilo for the price is good value, and these will definitely be a good alternative until I can get out for some local beans.

I recently purchased 1kg of Presto Italian coffee beans from Amazon. The beans arrived in a couple of days and I must say I am totally impressed by the packaging, it’s very slick and 100% recyclable which is great plus. As a coffee lover I enjoy trying different roasters. I can say Presto are very passionate about coffee as I am. They have made enjoying coffee so much easier for everyone with their letterbox friendly packages and the option to have next day delivery. The particular blend I have purchased has beautiful notes of dark chocolate and fresh almonds. I have a coffee machine with a built in grinder and I found the beans ground well and pulled through the coffee machine beautifully producing a strong rich and silky flavour.

These beans are okay, not bitter but the depth of flavour wasn't to my liking. They really do have a chocolate overtone, I find it overwhelming and can't taste anything else. I will be looking for something a bit fruitier in future.

I have tried numerous coffee beans from numerous different brands and I keep finding myself coming back to this brand. I find the smoothness really pleasing and there is a chocolate flavour that is really tasty too. I don't find the coffee too intense and isn't too strong for me when using in a standard coffee machine. The packaging is designed to help keep the beans fresh for longer and looks quite smart when on the shelf. The size of the bag means you can have coffee available for a long time!

I enjoy trying new coffee and the same old supermarket beans were getting boring and all tasted the same. So I decided to come and look on good old Amazon, and I'm glad I did as I found this coffee, item was delivered promptly, coffee is packaged in ethical and recyclable material. I use my beans in a bean to cup coffee maker, I have tried this blend as both an espresso and americano and can say it is a good taste, very smooth but also packs a nice punch. Would highly recommend if you are looking for good, not mass produced coffee.

Ordered a few of these to keep us going during quarantine - we use a Delonghi grinder and espresso machine. I'm absolutely no coffee expert but there is a nice crema and it's not very bitter. When drinking as a shot or as a long black is slightly syrupy; with milk (oat or dairy) is really good. We have repeat ordered these beans a few times and it's a great value way to keep you topped up. Not sure if amazon is more cost-effective than ordering direct, so we may head over to the roaster to order some more when needed. Would recommend for a decent cuppa.

Ich als Kaffeeliebhaber und Hobbybarista probiere ständig neue Bohnen. Diese Bohnen haben mich wirklich positiv erstaunt. Verpackung ist aus einem schönen dicken Papier , was sehr Wertig ausschaut. Hat zwar kein wiederverschluss, aber des stört mich persönlich nicht. Röstung ist sehr frisch. Haltbarkeit ist bis zum 02/20 , also würde es ca Februar 2019 geröstet , bestellt habe ich es Ende Februar Der Duft ist wirklich angenehm, röstung sehr gleichmäßig , ohne verbrannte oder zu helle Bohnen. Auch kaum kaputte vorhanden , Zeichen für ne gute röstung in kleinen chargen. Geschmack ist sehr lecker. Sehr angenehmes Aroma und von der Stärke würde ich es im Mittelfeld ansiedeln. Für mich perfekt , sehr lecker pur, aber auch stark genug für guten Cappuccino und co. Preis ist sehr gut und kann locker mit Bohnen mithalten in der Preisklasse ~30€/kg Kann die Bohnen nur empfehlen und sind vermutlich meine neue Stammbohnen

Ich gehöre zu denen die Kaffee „literweise“ trinken und ich habe mich durch wirklich vieles durchprobiert. Von diesem Kaffee bin ich begeistert. Das Aroma der frisch gerösteten Bohnen ist ein Traum in der Nase beim Öffnen der Packung. Der Inhalt: schön und absolut gleichmäßig schokobraun geröstete Bohnen. Kein Bruch, kein Ausschuss zu erkennen. Die Crema ist völlig in Ordnung obwohl nur im Vollautomaten zubereitet. Als Espresso genauso wie als großer Kaffee mit Milch ganz ausgezeichnet im Geschmack, sehr säurearm. Geschmäcker sind natürlich verschieden. Wer aber einen sehr guten Kaffee für jeden Tag sucht, dem empfehle ich gerne diesen zu versuchen. Der Preis für diesen Kaffee ist meiner Meinung nach absolut ok. Verglichen mit dem was man von großen Marken um 15€/kg bekommt (ungleichmässige Röstungen, viel Bruch, ... Massenware eben), eigentlich sogar ein toller Preis. Ich werde diesen Kaffee sicher wieder bestellen und länger trinken.

Ottimo caffè, dal profumo inebriante che si sente anche a confezione ancora chiusa! Il caffè in grani conserva di più l'aroma e per questo ho voluto provarlo. Lo macino direttamente quando mi serve, così sono certa di avere sempre un caffè fresco e super intenso! E poi.... Che buon profumo per tutta casa! Gusto morbido ma intenso proprio come piace alla mia famiglia!
