Great wax that protects and brings warmth to the wood
Have used this on my wooden furniture every year and it always protects and brings a lovely subtle warmth and sheen to the wood.

Was sceptical but says what it does on the tin (Sorry Ronseal).......
I bought this after buying a table from John Lewis and reading about the product in a review of the table. The table is rough oak which is unfinished. I've used various oils and waxes in the past so was interested to see how this would work particularly as it is water and heat resistant. So the polish is jelly like in appearance. I used a lint free cloth to apply and I have to say it went on effortlessly, despite the roughness of the wood. I have now applied a second coat and I've only used about a third of the tin which I think is decent given the table. It is still a bit tacky and I will give it a wipe over just to remove any excess. But it really has lifted the table from looking quite dry to having a nice satin finish. Will see how it holds up over a few months of use, but so far I'm very impressed with this product,

The only wood polsh/varnish I will use. Easy to apply lovely finish and patina on old wood.

Amazing
Best wood-based product I've ever used. So good I ordered a second. Update, now I've ordered a third and forth. The finish is so good it's the best.

Patina is patina, easy to use and good results, woodcare a very good company
Patina is a good product, but WOODCARE SPECIALISTS are a very helpful company, I needed my order quickly, am email to woodcare, my Patina arrived next morning, not even Amazon can deliver that fast. Very very impressed, and thankful to them

does the job.
used on an oak dining table and some wooden side units. also gave to a friend to use on their kitchen table too who said it has done a great job,Make sure you leave enough time for it to dry before applying another coat and REALLY work it into the wood as too much can get sticky.

Does exactly what it doesn't say on the tin!
When I fancy beans on toast for lunch, I go to the supermarket, pick up a tin clearly labelled "baked beans", grab a loaf of bread and I am on my way to a lovely lunch. The tin, having a picture, or at very least a simple wrapper or label with the words 'baked beans' on it, gives me assurance that I am indeed getting what I am paying for and that I am not about to pour, I don't know, garden peas into me saucepan. That's what I found myself doing this weekend. My 'Patina' turned up in a plain, label-less silver tin with nothing in terms of instruction or apology for its appearance.I opened the tin and it does look like Patina - a jelly-like wax that I have used before. - but upon application, it seems to be taking far longer to dry, and remained sticky over 24 hours after applying it to the table, I don't think the last tin I purchased took this long and that's the point. I truly don't know what I have put on the table. Also seems a little more glossy.it possibly is Patina.. but it is possibly several other things too.. I am completely in the dark, with this purchase. The truth is I needed to do the job this weekend and I took the risk.. but if I am honest, it wasn't ideal. Was well packaged though, so that's something.. but the missing label isn't in the wad of bubble wrap, so they knew they were sending out a label-free tin and were ok with the guessing game they were sending out to the customer.
