I'm a veteran of many "that's smaller than I expected" moments, but I am still fooled sometimes. Much as a man who steels himself against rumor may be swayed by a sincere delivery, I sometimes overestimate my ability to compensate for perceptual cues with numbers.Admittedly this is called a "lunch cooler": let's say it's a "double-sized insulated lunch bag". You can pack a meal for two or a day's worth of food and snacks for one. Letting our guard down out of gratitude for the modesty in calling a double-size lunch bag simply a "lunch cooler" though, the pendulum may swing too far the other way. I had planned to leave the bag in my trunk for times when I buy inexpensive groceries a few hours from home, but it seems I will need something a little larger.Photos taken by other reviewers give a just idea of the size, but on the product page I get the feeling that bag, bearer, and contents were not in the same frame before they met up in the final images. The fruit in the back of the main compartment, for example, doesn't seem to match up with the edges of the bag or with the shadows they cast. Otherwise I'd probably rate this a "four", but given the context-free leading images I am not going to say it's more than a three. I'll give it a virtual four stars through at 20% off!

Since I lost my insulated backpack I'd always wanted another insulated bag to carry drinks when camping or for shorter outings when a plastic cooler is overkill. This bag is collapsible and holds a decent amount of drinks though I didn't test with beer cans and just had ice and liquor bottles with a small bottle of soda. The top compartment is good for snacks or other flatter objects like bottle openers or cutlery. Stays cold long enough for my uses but I didn't test to see how long before it's no longer icy.

I got this cooler mainly to get cold items to my house without them melting as my nearest grocery store is 40 minutes away.It actually works very nice in that regard. Because once I’m done with it, I can collapse it down and put it in the trunk area and not have to worry about it taking up a lot of space. I have used it once to go to the beach, and it worked very nice. I’ve had collapsible coolers before and It’s pretty much the same as other ones, although I do feel like this one is more rigid than my last one. It held up pretty well. Once all the ice melted, though it was a little harder to manage than solid coolers. Although for what I need it for it works great.

Love this cooler. We have several cooler bags and flexible coolers but none like this. This cooler bag has ample storage, compartments, and pockets. We have so far used this on 3 separate vacation trips this summer, and weekly trips to farmers market. Actually, it will be going on one more trip left. We used this insulated cooler for carrying food and drinks on both road trips, camping, and home parties. I use the ice gel packs instead of ice so that I can also keep water out of pyrex food containers.Love the design and thoughtfulness. The compartmentalization helps to keep small or frequent uses in the top area while keeping everything cooler and controlled in the main big area. All the side pockets we store all the basics. The insulation is like any other and does not leak. It comes with good handles and shoulder strap. The size is just right for regular use. Very practical and light. It folds into a small bag that is provided. It is now our go-to insulated bag. It comes at a great price.

I have owned this bag for a short time but already found multiple uses for it.I have packed it with food that needs to stay cool for a long drive to the cabin. Cool, but not cold. The insulation is lightweight and will not maintain cold temperatures for a length of time.My grocery shopping area is about an hour from where I live so this bag is handy to keep in my vehicle to pack with ice and safely transport frozen goods home.As mentioned, the insulation is inadequate for long trips where you need cold temperatures.The bag is nicely constructed and of quality material.It is a utilitarian bag at a good price point.
