I almost gave this 4 stars because the hose nozzle is terrible. It broke so easily. The rest of the hose reel is great! It’s durable, gets the job done, and was easy to install.

I built a new deck and decided that rolls of hose hanging around was not the look I wanted. This retractable hose reel is exactly what I was looking for. The entire device feels very heavy duty, and is functionally attractive. The 1/2" reinforced hose pulls out with minimal effort, and retraction so far has always been strong and complete. I mounted it to the exterior wall with the enclosed hardware, and the swivel feature allows me to fold it back parallel to the wall when I am not using it. This item is today the same price when I bought it almost a year ago, and is an excellent value for this product. I am very glad I bought it.

So far I'm very satisfied with this product. It works as it should, easy to advance and retract, and I've had zero issues since I installed it. The hose is smaller than your typical garden hose, as it should be to save on weight and make it more manageable. I'm a little concerned about the build quality and how it will hold up over time - but I chose this one because it was affordable and understand that I just need to take care of it for it to last.

Very simple installation and good quality. Wasn't sure if I was going to be "hosed" by this product or not. After installation my wife and I decided to "reel" in the savings and value and get a second one for the backyard. From now on will be, as Steely Dan would sing, Reelin in the years.

Love this hose reel. It is so compact and allows for easy retraction (auto). My hose is no longer on the yard and is no longer a tripping hazard. Also easy to remove for the winter. Comes in a variety of hose lengths to fit needs.

It's been a year. I like it better than the hoselink unit in front of the house. No issues at all. Highly recommend.
