FIRE HAZARD - Worked once - but not twice...
My updated review is: IT'S A FIRE HAZARDI asked one of our engineers to have a look at it and he opened it up to discover what had happened. Of course it got hot it was melting/overheating the large capacitor.Bought this one to keep as a spare in my office and recently needed to take it out on a trip as I didn't want the hassle of unpluging the original Microsoft charger.First time used it got quite hot and charged the Surface Pro 2017 enough for me to complete my work. Day two it got really hot and then failed to charge the S-Pro at all.Not everything that looks cheap and comes from far away is necessarily cheap in the long run - this does not have any voltage output at the S-Pro plug end that fits the chargger port. The light on the transformer is on so I know it is not a fuse or a 240volt input failure. It's just a piece of useless junk.

Bad
Broke within 3 weeks, absolutely terrible. Pieces started falling off a week in and by week 3 it was non-functional. Was buying this as a replacement as the old charger was temperamental but ironically the old charger works better than this one at the moment. Thought I was on to a big money-saver but ended up wasting £10. I have not felt this scammed in a while. Do not buy this product, invest in something a little more expensive. That way you might get a charger that lasts longer than a month.

Not good and poor quality
That charger tends to awkwardly flash can't understand why, worried it my burn. I'll wait few week and update the review.After 3 week of using it, stopped working at all. Won't charge my laptop anymore.

Great seller, not a great product
Seller was great in terms of helping to send me a new product when the first one quickly broke but unfortunate that the product did not last long

All in all, a great product.
Extending life of my Pro table. Cheap and looks like have super long cord. Other charger ran hot. This one is running very cool. Plug is a tight fitWas very please that it did what its suppose to do.

Not for the 2018 version of the surface book pro.
So it arrived all well and good promptly as expected, I was pleased to find that a plug was included. However it did not charge as it should. The light came on and it looked like it was working but nothing happened.I presume it's not compatible with the newest version of the surface book. I have the 2018 version and this purely did not work.Item returned the same day. Pity as it was cheap and looked decent quality.
